It's an obstacle course for someone in an electric wheelchair. The queue system for the in store postoffice is tight but manageable. Staff are helpful and friendly

Extremely slow service. Only one person serving at the counter and one person helping at the self-service area, both very very slow. Approx. 15 people in the queue. I gave up and will not be returning to this post office. It remains to be seen how long it stays open. Post your letters and parcels elsewhere - will save you a lot of time.

The post office queue can get long but the WHSmith side of things is fine. Look out for the vouchers you get when you make any purchase and the clearance section upstairs.

I asked a salesperson where next year's diaries were. He pointed at the far wall, grunted over there and just carried on what he was doing. The diaries weren't where he said so I asked a lady who took me to where they were (no where near where the original 'salesperson', not that he should be called that was). If you can't be bothered to even be pleasant to customers, why work in customer service?

I wanted to buy David Walliams's book and I asked about free book but staff didn't know about free book. One person of staff sent me to another and I was sending from one person to another. Ended up with only one book.

My first time going into this shop to use the post office.

There was a long queue so I grabbed an envelope off a nearby shelf and started heading for the self checkout machines when suddenly a floor staff started yelling at me that I needed to pay for the envelope at the other counter. I told him thank you for the information and asked him if he knew if any of the self checkout machines were working. He was extremely rude with his reply.

I rejoined the queue to reassess my situation as I was in hurry. At that moment the man started yelling at me again from across the store. Everyone was perplexed at his behaviour, I had to tell him to calm down.

I did pay for the envelope in the end, the rest of the staff was courteous. The queue for the post office was a bit long but in the end it was fine.

Having read the reviews before I was prepared to have a negative experience and my expectations were certainly met.

Really helpful staff, polite and friendly and they always have time to fuss my dog.
As my dog is always with me because I have her lead in my right hand which helps my disability.

Updatee:

Visited the post office on a Friday at 9.30am, one man on the counter, over 15 people waiting and self serve checkouts are all out of order. Ended up walking out as did many. Bad service for Sutton. Not good enough.

Came into the store today around 9.30am and to use Post Office service and all 3 self serve tills were out of service. When I asked the lady with the green hair, who I assume is the manager, that all 3 tills are not working, she responded by saying "clearly not, that's why I sent the customer to the desk" excuse me but there is no need to be so rude. With around 15 people waiting on the queue and only 3 staff serving and 3 broken tills. Disgusting service and the manager needs to do better with her customer service skills and not take it out on customers. If you cannot deal with the pressure of the job then my dear you are in the wrong job. Luckily I kept my mouth shut and did not cause a scene for her rude remark. Cheer up love
