Usually I go in there and get on with whoever is in there but today Friday 1st July there was a dark skinned lady that served me and was VERY rude. She was not helpful at all and chucked my food on self service not listening to what I had to say as I wanted more items. She did not help me when I asked for it and I ended up having to leave the store with nothing even though on check out I had paid as I was fuming. She should really not be working there with that attitude or extreme customer service training is required. Will not be going back there again thanks.

"Yes" means "hello" and "its not working" means "sorry but the machine is not working." Well done whsmith for training one of your staff in the whsmith polite conversation technique this employee must have had a day off that particular day.(Perhaps he/she was going for a consultation for a personality transplant that never happen)

This is mostly a small magazine stand/food shop. They do not have many things, and the stationary inventory is specially limited compared to other WHSMitsh stores.

The store has limited ranges of products and lines. It is clean and tidy. The shopfloor layout and marking are complicated to find certain product location. The prices and promotions were updated but very different than what it is outside the station. The products were faced up to help customers find necessary items. The stuffs were helpful and welcoming. The food standards were standard. There were few counters as well as books, magazine, table games and other necessary travel items.

Small branch easily overrun when busy. Slow service. High prices. Mainly snacks, books and magazines, although other items. I only go when passing through Marylebone Station to buy my Lottery tickets.

I worked in this shop when it was first built around 32 years ago replacing the old WHSmith, I was 16 and this was my first Job after leaving school, Fred Wenman was the manager, while the shop was being built we were in 2 temporary portable cabins one for the stock room and one for the sales of papers, magazines & books
I remember it like it was yesterday, how time fly's.

Large selection of magazines and newspapers with a limited selection of food. It's a small store with large queues at peak times.

Update: had to buy some painkillers from here today. Stupidly priced at £4 a box and the man serving me was incredibly rude when I asked him to help me read the packaging as I couldn't see it easily from the other side of the counter. Reducing to 1 star.
