Terrible experience on NYE. Would give zero stars if possible. Gave the sales assistant £10, gave me change of a £5 note and the drama that this entailed has caused me serious stress. Felt like a thief, even though I challenged them about cctv footage. No manager in sight, the staff here are incompetent!

It's a shop that been where it is for years and could probably do with a bit of a sprucing up, and the could do with a sign asking browsers to put magazines back in the right place! (not the staffs fault). The staff were excellent and the had exactly what I wanted.

Despite being open during Covid-19 lockdown, the upper sales area was cordoned off even though there were only 2 to 3 customers in the store at the time of my visit and so I could not fulfil my shopping needs because of the store layout, instead visiting another WHSmith branch with a different layout to buy the same products!

Went in today and was served by a lovely lady called Tina. She was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that me and my partner left with the product we went in for, when we first walked in and saw the product wasn’t on display and we were about to walk out she said oh we have some in the back and went to get them for us! 5* service what a great employee 😊

Went to drop off a DHL parcel. Went to the man on the till who told me that it was handled by upstairs staff but upstairs was shut; he didn’t bother to do it himself, call another member of staff or even help me in any way. Fair enough if it wasn’t possible but at least put the effort in to help your customers to find an alternative rather than blanking them. Ended up going to Deepdale instead who were more than happy to help and accepted my parcel without any issues
