Generally a really nice store always a huge selection of Magazines, Books and Stationary and even a really good Post Office here. Almost all of the staff are friendly and helpful.

I would have given 5 stars but theres one member staff here who always seems to be rather rude and needs an attitude adjustment. I come here quite a lot but I've stopped coming in on a Friday Morning now, because one of the women who is in has really terrible attitude.

Wh smiths in stafford is evil? But in tje best way haha. It makes me spend money as theres so much awesome amazing things in there!!!

Visited to look for Christmas present for daughters friend but did not stock author. Tend to stock recent releases only. There was an offer of 3 for 2 and daughter treated herself to some books. This was paid for partly cash, partly card which confused the cashier. Shop was well laid out.

Place is starting to look a bit tired like the rest of the high street. Seems to focus on sweets and discount books a lot which masks the decent range of stationary and magazines still held here.
Could do with a refresh, but as the rest of Stafford's high street is suffering the same, it's no great surprise to find it like this . . . sadly.

Sometimes some of the more specialist magazines are in a daft place and you have to dig around. The books nearly always have some cosmetic damage (huge no for book nerds). Not recommended for wheelchair users, I have difficulty manoeuvring when walking around with my back pack on.

Great range plus post office upstairs

Bought a HUAWEI Band 6 this afternoon at 14:45 in store. A staff found one package for me, I paid and put it in my bag immediately, I didn't check the package because I was busy with other stuff. Also I bought it for my child and thought to let her open it in the evening.
I picked up my child from train station at 6pm and would like to give her a surprise with the new band watch. Arrived home and gave her the package. She was very happy to see the package. She tried to open the package but found that the seal was opened. She took the inner packaging out, found no watch inside, just a charger! This is really not a surprise I would like to give her.
Shopping here for books regularly, this is my first time shopping for a digital product. Really disappointed. I hope the store can replace a new one for me.

Books and stationary are very expensive here, however is very convenient on having a post office within it!
