The the present layouts of the magazine's in WHSmith shops are a complete mystery. I gave up looking for a technical magazine. Definitely not a good idea for the elderly and disabled. They don't want my custom and I will try and inform the magazine of the situation.

Inside the shop has a lovely atmosphere of calm, organised clutter. It's very small but manage to pack in a whole lot of stock. Staff are friendly and efficient.
I had a pushchair with me, so wasn't able to explore upstairs - don't know if it's accessible.

Not a bad shop. Slightly confusing how it has two floors, but it has a till on both of the floors. It has a fair range of stuff, more than just stationery, so try looking here on the off chance it has what you want.

I walked in the shop with 4 to 5 members of staff standing at the entrance. Not one of them made any attempt to greet me, a customer walking in. Not one of them asked if they could help me. The same thing happened in the upstairs department, two more staff members basically ignored me. Very strange customer service. Got what i needed and quickly left the awful atmosphere.
WHSmith, this branch let's you down, a real shame.

Try to call Costco for order update non of department answer calls! Which is very poor service and after care

Better now it has been internally redesigned. Self service tills can be a bit difficult to use.

Manager not very knowledgeable, about 50 mins and cou for a DHL parcel to do the paperwork?? Not
very professional. Also not a sign of DHL Service. If you're in a hurry don't go there. She's trying to be polite, but I wouldn't call a DHL express service point.
Update: after 1hour I left without sending my items.
Terrible

I just go here to get here for magazines and today was so standing in the queue to get to the till but the store manager told me I had to queue behind the guy who was behind me and was using the self checkout. Which made no sense and it was like making me uncomfortable. They either make two lines or don't bother the customer if decide to use the till instead of self checkout. Rude staff.
