Rancho Steakhouse Fareham

Lovely service, the food was delicious and came very quick. Only complaint was the ribs, usually you get the BBQ sauce on the top where the meat is but they put in at the bottom on the bone which made the ribs taste very dry and not nice, but the steaks were great quality and came with fries. The deserts were lovely but quite expensive for what you get.

I booked a table on a Friday night for my parents and I to have some dinner. My dad is one of the fussiest eaters going so this menu was perfect for him. All the meals were fresh to order, and so full of flavour. Easily one of the best steaks I have ever had. I ordered a rare rump steak and there was no blood at all. My mum loves a good steak and expressed after a couple of mouthfuls that this was the best steak she has ever had (and she’s had a lot in her time!). The staff were attentive despite having many tables including a large group. Overall it was a lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, and brilliant value for money. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon!

Just fell in love with this place!! Stake rib-eye was absolutely amazing and came with chips on a side, also I had chicken salad which was a quite big portion:) gentleman who met me at the entrance was very generous and helpful, he put on some music and turned on AC what was really nice of him. I had a really bad day but visiting this place just really made it so much better!! Definitely coming back!! Thank you so much 😊

We went in for a date night on a quiet Thursday evening. We had a delicious steak and a BBQ burger. Steak was 5* and burger 3-4*. Chips wete tasty. Service was slow and we waited 30 minutes to be offered a pudding. The manager was very apologetic and kind and offered us a free drink due to our wait. Our creme brulee was great. We would go back again.

We had a great meal here last night, we were visiting family who live locally and the food was lovely. Everyone enjoyed it. Staff were excellent too and especially nice to my aunt who is elderly, uses a wheelchair and doesn’t get out too much these days.
Well recommended - amazing steaks and fish at very good prices.

The food was quite nice as steaks go but that's about it. Service (both from what I experiences first hand and from what I witnessed from a distance) was poor: did not feel welcome, no one checked if our food was ok, and was not informed of the increase of food prices until I came to pay (prices did not match what's the menu stated). Personally I found the customer service cold and unprofessional.

I went to Ranchos for my friends birthday last Saturday.

The first thing I noted was that the decor/building was really outdated, and needed a good TLC. Especially after visiting the toilets on the premises.

Food overall was OK, the size of the steaks were good. Although, when I asked for medium/rare, my steak came out as a French rare (practically blue!).

Prices for the food and drink were as expected for restaurants nowadays. Except the chips! I will say, I was not impressed with their portion size to cost.

Service provided by the staff was ok, the team did the job as expected. But, I did not get that warm, fuzzy feeling after a great service.

It was not a terrible experience, but at the same time it was not a great one either. I would not come here by choice, if I was to be honest with people who view this review. But as part of a group event like a bday/Xmas party would suffice here.
