Great food and really friendly staff, occasionally a bit of a wait but I would rather that than and have a quality meal.

Shambolic kitchen management, the restaurant was not particularly full but took 90 minutes from sitting down for our food to arrive.

When my chicken melt did finally arrive, the chicken was dry, small and barely warm; the cheese congealed; and the chips, few. The 20 minutes spent under the heat lamp had left the coleslaw unpleasantly warm.

My partner ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and it also spent 20 mins under the lamp, by which point it was more than well done. The rocket was wilted and inedible.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in recent years.

Good restaurant next to the canal in Woking. We had nice salads and the children liked their food. Reasonable price. Slow service and loaded fries were quite small. But good otherwise.

Kinda disappointing... A burger with some chips, onion rings and a coke came up as nearly £ 25.

Defenitely more than your local Wetherspoon... With inferior quality. Wetherspoon it's not really the best food, but sure is a good bang for the buck hence in my opinion my experience at this venue was very poor.

The burger itself was ok, but the coleslaw that came with it was old... To the point that the cabbage was getting grey/black instead of its original bright colour.

My girlfriend asked for a side os chargrilled vegetables that was egregious. The half onion was barely cooked. I found very hard to justify that portion to come at around £3,5.

I don't mind paying more than double on the same food if compared to Wspoon. But I would definitely expect the food to have bigger quality. Unfortunately that was not true.

The atmosphere is good, and the pub looks nice. It is definitely a nice place to drink with friends. Not a good one to eat out.

This visit the steaks were spot on, has to be said it is a bit hit or miss, as sometimes we go and its all great and other times food is being returned as steak not cooked to order or reduced quality of the meat, but we always come back eventually.
staff are great i think the servers name is Sue we seem to have her all the time and shes great, more than helpful and friendly.
Always top notch service fast and efficient and they dont rush you constantly like most places, so we have plenty of time to chat and enjoy are meal without being pestered.

The service was excellent but delivery problems caused some items on the menu to be unavailable. That's the only reason for 3 stars.
Our meals were nicely presented and delicious and I am certain you won't be disappointed. This Beefeater is picturesque, nicely converted from an old barn.
Recommended.
