Really nice Beefeater!

When here after visiting Chessington for the day and was pleasantly surprised. Wanted somewhere to eat that would fill us up and not have the extortionate prices that the park has.

The food was great, although the chicken was slightly over cooked but we overlooked this. The staff where great and very friendly and polite.

The menus wasn’t too badly prices and the kids 3 course mean for £5.99 was brilliant value.

If we were ever this way again I’d definitely revisit.

Outstanding food, drinks a little slow to arrive, table service was just right. Nice venue, fabulous interior decor. Would definitely come again.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Nice pub but seemed massively understaffed. Many tables were not cleared from previous diners and were only cleared later in the evening by the manager. The staff working were friendly but visibly under stress. It was nice to see one waitress/manager, who was working her socks off, take time to be friendly to the children every time she visited a table despite being rushed off her feet. I had the cobb salad which was fine, not delicious but fresh. No complaints about any of the staff but just understaffed by the looks of it.
*Update* visited on a Tuesday evening (not to eat) and it was much quieter. Tables were much cleaner and it is a nice pub so I have updated to 3 ⭐️
It’s not fine dining but ok for a family tea with the kids or dinner when your working away

We were a large table but even so it took almost 3 hours to finish our meal. The food was adequate but several people had over cooked dishes. Personally the squid to start was good, but the surf and turf burger was poor with the prawns like leather and the burger was burnt and overcooked.

The serving staff were super friendly but struggled to bring drinks or food out in a decent amount of time.

The black forest cheesecake pictured was a plain vanilla cheesecake not even on the menu.

As a consolation the staff took off the price of the deserts which was appreciated. If this hadn't have happened this would be a 2 star review.

Food was really nice, not all of the restaurant floors were open and they did seem really busy and service did seem a bit rushed. We never booked a table so we were put in front of the bar, which wasn't ideal with 3 kids and the chairs were not comfy for sitting and eating for long periods. After a few minutes of pondering, I got my phone out and booked a table, then we were moved into the restaurant table area with suitable seating. Lol! Bit silly really, would have been nice if we were asked "would you like to book a table?". Nevermind, overall experience was good and the main thing, the food was great!

Great food, quick service, pleasant atmosphere. We could sit wherever we want, the kids were tired and grumpy and the waitress noticed so she was very attentive and made sure our kids were happy. This of course made us happy because we could relax. She had an impeccable 5 star customer service and made sure everything was perfect. Extremely polite and made sure she went out of her way to cater for 3 gluten free diets as best as possible. We'll definitely be back here. Thanks again to the lovely lady with curly hair. My apologies I didn't get your name.

Eaten here twice now whilst staying at the hotel and they’re honestly good and bad points. Firstly the bad service is slow AF you are looking at a minimum 40 minutes wait. We booked a table on the second visit but when we arrived they had none available down stairs forcing me to carry a baby buggy up the stairs along with my partner having to do the stairs despite being disabled and sometimes wheelchair bound (to be fair she wasn’t in a wheelchair on the night in question) my wife ordered the veggie roast and had items missing. I ordered the 10 ounce rib eye and was missing however the staff did correct this quickly. Now the good bits the food is pretty for the most part and the staff do try to be helpful despite being very clearly stretched to their limit. On balance this is more of a 2.5 stars but not worth the price you pay for it.

Good meal deal options! Friendly service. Stayed for 3 days at Premier Inn and the Beefeater is by the side. Unfortunately they don't have apple crumble for 3 days . The steak is very nice but the grilled food was little too dry. First day Tried 2 starters, average. So the second and third dinner were main meal and dessert. Tried the bomb and Dome, and one team member loved the chocolate tarte, so ordered it three times. Anyway, I would like less sweet desert personaly.
