Tomahawk Steakhouse Hoxton

Great food and service. Dessert was heavy; a little too much going on at the same time. But the sirloin, fillet and porterhouse were bang on perfect! Nice range of drinks and sides to choose from, and reasonably priced.

I have always wanted to experience a tomahawk steak. My daughter found this place. The staff are amazing and helpful. The creamed mushrooms were tasty, the roast potatoes in skin flavoursome. Don't even get me started on the texture and flavour of the steak. Everything was tip top. I couldn't finish all. Took the rest home. I would highly recommend a visit.

Even though I arrived at 11:28, staff still took my order for breakfast. I ordered the 'small' full English breakfast and, still, it was quite well served. Everything was tasty. The tea was also good. Had a great breakfast for a very reasonable price.
Service was great too, they even noticed I was leaving behind my face mask and took it to me at the entrance.
Overall very recommendable experience.

I would definitely consider this place as one of the hidden gems for steak lovers in London. a warm atmosphere with friendly staff complemented with a large menu of high quality foods and well crafted drinks. Prices are surprisingly very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone and would certainly come back again.

Absolutely dreadful experience !! The service was super slow. We finished a bottle of wine before all the starters came. We had to wait for 1 hr for starter to come, 2 hr for mains to be served!! We weren't even a big party, unbelievable!! Also one of the waitresses tried to take away the wine glass I was still drinking (it wasn't even empty). The staffs/the chefs at kitchen were laughing and chatting loud the entire time, rather than serving dishes to customers. This is not what we paid for!! Food was just average, the service was absolutely ridiculous, the place wasn't even busy! I would never come back here ever again, I would strongly suggest everyone to avoid this place at all costs. You could easily find better steakhouse nearby.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 wow what a meal, went out to celebrate our wedding anniversary last night and truly spoilt ourselves... so we decided to go all out with some delicious scallop and black pudding starter and calamari with chorizo jam... 😍😍

We then chose the wagyu steak board 😍😍 to share for our main with a few sides and I have to say this was absolutely amazing, the steaks were cooked to perfection and everything was super tasty 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

What made it even better was the service, Cleeve and the rest of the team last night went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and to top it off we were each presented with a glass of bubbles with our main as we celebrated our night.. what a lovely surprise ❤❤❤

Would definitely recommend.. tried Wagyu for the first time and really enjoyed it.

However when ordering the surf and turf option was given normal prawns instead of the bbq grilled option I was expecting 👎🏼

Other than that a really positive experience with lovely cocktails

So we attended this restaurant on Saturday 17th July for my sisters birthday for the moment we got there the atmosphere was not the best, staff just standing around chatting about their own life’s, we had just sat down not even took our coats off and staff already in our faces about drinks like we have even looked at the menu! Once we order our drinks the waitress brought the drinks over and did not have a clue on how to place a tray on the table and nearly dropped the drinks all over the table and when we tasted the drinks it did not even taste like alcohol they tasted of sugar and water (so obviously missed out the alcohol completely), when we order a few more cocktails we got ones that we did not even order & had to wait nearly 40 minutes for them to come, we order our food and when it arrived well shocking wasn’t even the word! The steaks we ordered one were cold so it got sent back and when it came back it was still cold so chef can’t cook at all, the second steak was burnt and fatty absolutely disgusting, we order a chicken parmesan main meal the chicken was burnt and did not taste right the cheese on top was lumpy just completely ruined, the pawns we ordered at a side dish were under cooked still had the shells on so we didn’t even try them, the chicken wrap we order well that was absolutely awful, the chicken wasn’t cooked properly the wrap was burnt you could crumble it and it just flaked away, the Mac & cheese well where was the cheese cause all it was, was pasta and cream sauce
nope forgot the cheese there chef! The nachos well damn where was the cheese or the sauces just tasted like rubber! When speaking to a lady who was the manager just did not think she even cared at all about the whole situation & the staff there just seemed to have an attitude about it all, when speaking a man that said he was sent from HR he listened to what we had to say he seemed like he was just giving excuse after excuse and then disappeared & The one thing I will says is the waitress who was dealing with us her name is SAM she was absolutely amazing she could not stop apologising for what had happened and the fact that she was really sincere about the whole situation made it abit better, the only reason it’s got 1 star is simply because I can’t give it no star at all definitely will not be returning the restaurant again! People keep your money in your purses/wallets and move on to somewhere better!
