I bought friends here to try their famous smoked baked Camembert calamari and whitebaits and they all loved it! With the heat the cheese was still melting throughout the meal so it tasted even better along with the fresh salad next to it and homemade garlic mayo sauce. Would definitely bring more people here again!

Poor hygiene - flies could be seen everywhere and they even landed on my dish even though we tried our best to drive them away. Excellent cut of steak, but cooked poorly. The outer layer was bitter, which completely ruined the taste of every bite. Same thing happened to my partner’s steak as well. So disappointed, will not come again.

The best Beef in Cambridge. Well cooked, tasty sides and great service!
Wine menu was small but wines offered were great value. Great choice of local and continental beers/lagers. Will definitely return!

Wonderful place where I spent a 1.5 hours there to enjoy the peaceful and comfortable lunch at one Saturday afternoon. The price of food was reasonable and french onion soup and lamb chop were specially yummy. Try it again if I visit Cambridge next time.

I’ve been fortune to travel the country and world on business and have found La Maison Du Steak to offer the very best steak I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. It is always very well seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The peppercorn sauce has a very well balanced citrusy and zesty aftertaste and service is always on point. Truly the ‘piece de resistance’ of Steakhouses…

We visited this restaurant New Year's Eve and what a treat it was! We were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. For starters we ordered a crab cake to share. It was huge and absolutely delicious! For main I had the beef bourginon. The beef literally fell to pieces and tasted amazing! My partner has the filet steak which was also really, really good!
This was by far some of the best food we have ever eaten in the UK and reasonably priced too!
Give this restaurant a go - you won't regret it! Only a short walk from the train station too!

Home from home, step into this charming independent restaurant with plenty of French influence whilst supporting other local suppliers. Portion sizes never disappoint and you can be sure you’ll get your money’s worth. You can tell quality is a priority. A refreshing change away from the tourist spots. Lovely staff too!

This is the BEST steakhouse I have ever visited. The portion sizes are huge (I have never managed to finish a steak from here), but they are so perfectly prepared and seasoned. It also does not break the bank for what you receive, with around £30 per person. The sides are also incredibly good (the coleslaw deserves a special mention because it is slightly sweet but a well balanced dish overall), and both the sweet and normal fries are excellent. The servers are also welcoming and the place itself is very cozy.

We also had desserts (somehow managed to fit them in), and the apple tart is probably the best choice for something sweet and slightly sour.

We revisited this place 3 times across 4 weeks (2 times in the same weekend!), so definitely recommend.
