The Ashville Steakhouse

Had the sharing plate for date night and very much recommend it. The garlic butter is GORGEOUS and the steak was perfectly seasoned.

This was our first time at the steakhouse and the chap who served us was absolutely lovely and very attentive. There was free parking right outside (after 5pm Mon-Sat) and the venue had original art for sale on the walls which I really enjoyed having a good look at.

Lovely bday meal here, food was gorgeous, steak was so tasty, service prompt, not rammed with tables so felt more relaxed.

Gem of a hotel.. Stayed to watch Jack dee at the hippodrome which was a 25 minute walk. Service at the hotel was fantastic and so was the breakfast. The waiter was extremely helpful. Room although small was clean and well kept. Bargain at £70 Inc breakfast.

Dined here on my grandson’s 11th birthday. Wow! Absolutely brilliant! The food was first class - we all had Sunday roast, except my grandson who had a child’s steak. There was nothing left on our plates! The staff were excellent - they even served my grandson’s meal with a candle! Prices were really good and food was plentiful. Lovely ambience. Can’t wait to return. Thank you!

This is the best steakhouse in Bristol.
The restaurant itself looks like a small local pub, but don't let it mislead you with how excellent the cuts, and quality of the meats are.

Steak is always perfectly cooked.
Had the 1kg tomahawk. Perfectly cooked medium steak.

The steak took a little longer than the staff had anticipated (I didn't notice the time), so they comped us a free round of drinks. Which was generous.

Staff are always attentive and the service is excellent.

Have tried Pasture, Mugshot, buenasados, and this is still my favourite.

I was a little surprised about the location, tucked away in a housing estate but never let appearances fool you inside is a modern very pleasant place, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming with the Staff behind the bar being polite and Friendly. As for the important part the food steak was cooked to perfection moist and full of flavor of the 6 meals we ordered not one was cooked incorrectly, it's no surprise that it is hard to get a table here and they are always busy it's a credit to the great service and great food. Normally there would be a but....but I can't fault it not even on the Price worth waiting for a table or even waiting for a booking look forward to my next visit.

Absolutely stunning steak, everything about our experience here was top notch. Super friendly and efficient staff. The food was outstanding in quality and the way it was cooked. The pepper sauce was so good I had to ask for more (which was provided at no added cost) lovely cocktails and a nice selection of wines. I called the day before as I wanted the 36oz T-bone which was melt on the mouth good. Honestly cannot praise the place enough. Needless to say, we will 100% be back. I've eaten in all of the big steak restaurants in Bristol and I honestly rate this one as the best.
