Good food. Free pop refills. Tables are wonky so don't place your glasses near to an edge or they will slide off 😅 Very friendly service. Fish was a bit hard to cut through the batter. Burger was delicious. Also had ribs which were good. Love the chunky chips.

We had 2 adults and 2 children. We also had a kids eat for free all summer voucher. The kids voucher apparently is ONLY for 1 child at any one time and ONLY for the MAIN meal. We had Starters and Mains and Dessert each. The wait for each course was so bad it took 2 and half hours from arriving to leaving. The meal was nice I cant fault that. The tables were very sticky and needed more than a wet cloth to clean. Going up to the toilets the handrails were also very sticky. It was OK but not somewhere to return to. Other branches have faired better in my experience.

Unfortunately we were served two very poor lunches that arrived nothing like the description and with coleslaw that looked old and grey. All meals were returned and were graciously refunded.

Hopefully things will be better if we have the opportunity to visit again another time.

Weve been coming here since it opened (years). When it first opened, we loved everything. In recent years, we felt the food quality and consistency of cooking had been deteriorating (e.g. medium rare steak being well done and chewy with gristle and a kids pasta being filled with water). It got so poor, in our opinion, that we significantly decreased our visits. It should be said that, during this time, the service from staff has always been great with only one exception.

Now for tonight.... wow.
It started great with the usual friendly greeting and service. The waitresses got straight to work on making our little girls feel welcomed and special. Our selected waitress served us with a smile despite being in clear pain from a bad back. Kudos to her for that. Mid way through our meal, she was replaced with a young kindly lad who continued the great service. Well done to front of house.
On to the food... what an amazing turnaround. Every item, right down to the children's meals, were cooked to perfection. I loved my steak. Perfect medium rare. The prawns were significantly upgraded the skinny fries and sweet potato fries all fantastic.

Amazing experience and good value. Well done to all the team, long may it continue.

All served with a smile. We will be back again!

Simple restaurant attached to "Premier Inn Hotel". The "crew" is lovely, friendly and mostly efficient. The whole thing looks seasoned, however, it is very popular. Table was not clean, but sticky from previous customers. The food (8 oz Filet steak = 226g) ... comes with few fries. The liver pate (the most expensive in pound per oz. ) is old and dry.

We went for a Christmas lunch, the server was lovely and made a poor experience way better, she was lovely. Food was cold, semi frozen, clearly microwave ping food. However, they treated my under 1 twin boys like royalty. The server was the best 👌. Not great food, but lovely staff.
