I have moved to Cardiff in August 2014, initially living in the Topaz Street property. The house is lovely, the largest bedroom (my previous room) was as advertised and great value for the money. I have always felt safe walking through the neighbourhood as well, never encountering any problem. Early this year (Jan 2015) I moved to the Claude Place house, for personal reasons, house situated in Roath, just off Albany Road, which proved to be well equipped with everything a student would need and, as with the Topaz Street house, great value for money. Lastly, the landlords are wonderful individuals, understanding and welcoming with everyone. As a conclusion, I would recommend Cardiff Homes 4 Students to anyone looking for a place to live, as I have never had a bad experience with anything related to the place I live, or lived in.

A well-maintained property with everything a student will need, and a decent distance from both the city centre and the Cathays train station. Not too far from the local post office or Tesco/Sainsbury either. Landlords are friendly and welcoming.
The room I rented on the property was spaceous and overall very good value for money. Both living areas on ground and first floor were of a generous size, and both bathrooms were well looked after.
Would definitely recommend this property to any student looking for a place to live during their studies.

Big spacious properties, very well maintained. Very pleasant and helpful landlords, always ready to help if you have a problem. The property I stayed in was very close to shops on Albany road and local bus routes, easier to get to the Metropolitan University than Adamsdown without the loud chaotic student atmosphere of Cathays. Living in Roath with Janet and Nick as landlords has been a great experience and would recommend them to any Cardiff student.

Well maintained property which is good value for money. All the rooms are spacious and perfect for all students. Albany road is very close by with all shops you could possibly need also as a Met student (which is further away) there are several bus routes to catch which come frequently.
Couldn't ask for better Landlords they are genuine, very helpful and friendly. Always ensure any faults are fixed as soon as possible and are helpful in every situation that may occur.

Nick and Janet are literally the kindest, most helpful and fairest landlords I have ever experienced and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new place to rent! The property had recently been renovated so everything was new and clean. My room was huge for the (very reasonable) price I payed and with bills and internet included you can't go wrong. Especially as there was a bath tub! Whenever there was an issue - which admittedly was our cause/fault, Nick and Janet would immediately resolve it. For example if we blocked the drain or dishwasher. They even went out of their way to take our rubbish sacks in their OWN CAR to the dump as none of us had a car. No other landlord I know would do this for free!! They are really down-to-earth and relaxed so you can approach them with anything. They held a coffee catch-up for all their tenants which is so sweet and again rare to come across! They also allowed my housemates to keep their cats which was so lovely and everyone loved bonding with the little fur babies. They even let me and another housemate walk their dog around the beautiful park which is less than five minutes away from the property!
For me, the best thing about the property and the landlords was how flexible they were with letting me arrive earlier and stay on later - it took out so much stress. They also helped our foreign exchange students with transport from airports and let them store their property at the house.
I wish I could give more stars as they are really lovely people to rent off and i thoroughly enjoyed my time at 139 Moy Road - I wish I could stay!

I really enjoyed having Nicholas and Janet as landlords. They made me feel welcome since the very first day I arrived for my Erasmus year in Cardiff. The house met all my expectations and certainly delivered what was being promised. The kitchen appliances were as good as one could expect and one could not wish for a better landlord!
