The shop is well laid out and easy to find items, however certain staff need training in customer services. I was served at the till by a lady called Eva, who didn't look at me once let alone say hello. Words spoken out of her was, thank you as she handed me the receipt, without looking at me. I would have mentioned this to customer services, but there was a queue with no one at the desk. Clearly they have given up and gone home, Eva was clearly at home in her head and was on automation mode. Simple friendliness and manners go a long way and don't take much to give.

Nothing really wrong with the produce and what staff are still there appeared very helpful especially on the pizza counter. But what's with the management policy in checkouts, we had to walk halfway down the store past all these money saving (for ASDA) self checkouts before we found a human????

Absolute joke when it comes to paying!
They have limited staff on the checkouts, queues going down all the aisles so people can’t shop those products. Plenty of staff standing in the self checkouts doing nothing. Asda you are an embarrassment! At the very least you could have all your checkouts open and use the staff standing in the self checkout are, it’s not rocket science, what a bunch of amateurs!

A decent sized Asda with a large car park, stocking all the usual food and household essentials. Along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

It also boasts a rather underwhelming clothes section, along with some electricals and cookware.

Lastly, the store features a small McDonald's, should you fancy rounding off your visit with a Big Mac.

Came on Sunday early afternoon (2pm) and most shelves were empty! Quite crowded at that time. I didn't need much so raced around the store, grabbing a few things. Got a large 6 pint milk, paid at self-checkout and left it there. I didn't notice until I got home. Dopey staff on the self-checkout tills clearly didn't notice either! I do wonder what happened to it!
McDonald's is always very popular here, can take your trolley inside but if there's there's queue, best to order and then put your shopping in the car!
Would say their newspapers are un thr wrong place as I only noticed them as I was walking out.

I've been shopping here for years.
It's probably the best Asda I've been to.
Incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need.
It can get busy though!

We came at 5pm...only 3 cashiers on and wait wait wait. In fact the only thing that really surpasses such poor and unacceptable service is the parking eye desparate to bag you for shopping enthusiastically. Over the years...just got worse. Back to Tesco...go there, you may learn something...but i doubt it with your business sense....
