Assistant store manager berated me as I’d already bagged 8 packs of vegan sausages that were due to go out of date that evening and the cashier had let me put through without any fuss.
Not impressed with his lack of customer service skills, never shopping here again.
So apparently, I was “excessive buying” these vegan sausages, even though they were on the reductions section and there were 30+ packets. I simply hate to see food go to landfill so put 8 packs in my basket to fill a shelf in my freezer at home.
At the checkout the cashier was friendly and put them through the till with no fuss. As i was bagging them the assistant manager (Andrew) screams “that’s excessive, you can only have four”.
Even though there were no restrictions in place and I simply wanted to stop the food going to landfill. I simply asked him to put these back.
Raised a complaint with the store manager... who still hasn’t contacted me.
My family and I will now shop elsewhere.

Went in this afternoon.I wanted a piece of beef for 5 people,the butcher advised me which beef was best for roasting and said he'd make sure I would have the size I required ,he told me to nip back after I'd done my shopping,He went out of his way and come and find me,with the perfect size.Now that is what I call excellent customer service,what a asset he is to that company and store.What a lovely, helpful and polite member of staff he is,
I will definitely be returning,with this sort of service

Lovely store with friendly local staff, wasn't to much of a rush to get you through a till so don't go if your in a rush. Prices were far more expensive than the local tesco so look at what your buying.

Used to be nice workers here. However the new lot are so racist. Absolutely abusive and horrendous security guard. Avoid at all costs!!!!

I have always shopped at Morrisons Great Harwood as it’s the most convenient to me however I have noticed increasing price rises recently, sometimes even 3 times in a month which isn’t good in the current financial climate. And some staff are always complaining about their shifts, not being paid correct, discussing their feelings on other members of staff and other things in front of members of the public which is very unprofessional. Also issues with the freezers need to be sorted quicker when they stop working and kept more stocked.
Also temperatures in store it’s been absolutely freezing inside recently which is not good when it’s freezing outside too.
There’s a lot of staff that need to learn how to smile too.
However, on the flip side I can always get majority of items I need others are quite popular items it seems on these there needs to be a quicker stock availability. But a great selection so can’t really grumble that much,
I do come into contact with a few staff members who I’ve built a good rapport with and these are always very friendly and always go out of their way to be helpful and it’s not just to me - I’d like this part of my review passed onto them as they deserve credit and to keep up the good work 😊
These people are: Sam, Alison, Heather & Marolyn (Maz) in addition the other 3 members I don’t know their names but it’s the gent with the stick, the young tanned lady with blonde hair and the smallest of the security guards- unfortunately all the others need to take a leaf out of their books.
