Waitrose & Partners Paddock Wood

Local supermarket where I live good range of produce also part of John Lewis now integrated into store only a few items available but can be ordered here for collection

A good place for groceries, with fruits and vegetables located near the train station

It's a really handy having a Waitrose in Paddock Wood near where I live. Staff are helpful and always have a nice greeting and conversation with most of them. I gave 4 stars because the Waitrose chocolate cake we tried was a big disappointment. We had tried an ASDA chocolate cake and it was far superior and so tasty. Sorry Waitrose!

All the food is continuously on the verge of rotten, no chance of a weekly shop here. The staff are nice, the problem is the rudeness of other customers sadly.

Warning - This store now employs Britannia Parking to take a photo of your car as you arrive and exit the car park and if you stay 1 minute past their two hours parking time you will get a bill for £40. This applies even if part of that time is whilst the store is closed. I shopped there an hour and a half before closing and took the opportunity to meet a friend at the Indian Restaurant opposite and as the store was shortly to close (within my two hours) and was empty I left the car there as I and others I know have done before. But because I stayed a total of three hours (1.5 whilst the store was closed), I was fined. Funnily enough the day after I parked there I had an email asking me to review my visit but I find now that they will only let you review within three days - obviously so they don't get complaints about parking.

No plans on shopping at Waitrose in the future.

Only ok today, 1 item was incorrectly priced but the staff were excellent in correcting the error. I did leave an item behind but it has been left at the welcome desk for later collection, so overall a good experience.

Very nice little Waitrose, has every thing required.

Good selection of goods for a Friday evening. Too much reduced price food though, perhaps management needs to review stock ordering? But good for the consumer however not for the partners!
