Tesco Extra

Decided to change from Sainsbury's, lol. Got no4 bus for an hour, struggled to walk to the door to get a mobility scooter and headed off to buy my evening dinner. I bought a lovely looking meal deal for £12, but when I went to pay it was £16 because I have no clubcard. Complained and told to get one from customer service, which had 10 people in the queue, so gave in and left with nothing. All in all price structure is a big con and I don't want Tesco or anyone else tracking what I spend and when I spend it!

Possibly the best supermarket in the northwest of England. Always clean and well organised with plenty of helpful staff and a wide range of good value products. I actually enjoy the fortnightly shopping trip, and that's saying something.

The people who work there, gathering peoples orders for online delivery are pretty ruthless on those trolleys they use. Won't move out of the way if they see you coming. The counter for tobacco / lottery etc always takes about 10 minutes to get served on my lunch break. Usually only 1 of the 3 people behind the counter serves whilst the other 2 just chat, and as people are returning items in the same queue as people wanting to buy tobacco / lottery, what should take seconds takes sometimes 10 mins or longer. Apart from that, just another Tesco!

Bought two small lemon sole fillets for £5, tasteless!!! In future will buy my fish at Morrisons.

Huge flat shop no steps, with toilets, and cafe
Large sales on most clothes 25% off and lots of food and alcohol on offer, but it has stopped selling electrical products TVs, Fire Sticks etc, this I think is a great shame.
Very big car park with petrol station and hand car wash available.

Tesco was cold and not very busy, but provided all the items we needed.
