Asda Blackpool Superstore

Shopping today the store front looks shabby, looks like it hasn’t been painted since the bought it from the coop, Inside the entrance there is a thick layer of dust in the lighting rig, cobwebs around the fire sprinklers over the kiosk, the shopping experience wasn’t to good either, tried to buy some pop but both ends of the aisle were blocked one end by a staff member unloading a pallet, the other by someone picking someone’s online shop, aisle totally blocked, so I didn’t bother, lots of empty shelf’s, it’s a sad reflection of what the store used to be. Does not encourage you to go back.

Ive shopped at asdas a while and its nice food and selection etc. The main problem i have is the online shopping. There is always lots of substitutes when delivered. They announce it after its too late to cancel it. Today they have sent me a message just before delivery,announcing theres 10 substitutes in my shopping and 1 item not found. This is an inconvenience as its often something different to what i wanted. This is a regular occurence now when shopping online and very inconvenient, often given food whats alot different to what i ordered. I feel its just to get rid of odd bits off shelves etc. They really need to improve the service of online shopping and also never deliver in carrier bags,which is alot easier when unpacking at door. Shame that a good store, is let down by not providing good online shopping service and trying to save on carrier bags and substitute food, when delivered.

First of all I don’t mind the store that’s why I’ve given it one star, however the pizza stall where they make them might as well be shut down for what it’s worth! This is now the 9th time I’ve been in store to create my own pizza and been told by the not so polite women that either it’s shut or they don’t have any staff to run it, I’ve even offered that I will make my own as it doesn’t require any special skills to put some toppings on a base.
This is the main reason I used to shop with asda, but from now on I will go elsewhere as it’s a complete waste of time.
I’m not the only one who has complained about this because there’s always people stood around waiting not knowing what is going on or what hours it’s open as the times always seem to fluctuate.

Clearly keeping all the Prime in the back, it's not what you know. Asked a member of staff if they had any after seeing a lady coming out with 2 bottles of Ice Pop at the rear door by the cakes who then proceeded to walk through to the self scan tills blatantly showing them off and chatting to staff, to be told 'no we haven't got any'.

This was at 10am on Sunday 27th November, don't have the staff members names as walked away. These were not the last ones as was posted on Social Media later that afternoon that some had been put out of the same flavour so clearly keeping them back.

I called in just after lunchtime today for a snack and cup of tea. The lady behind the counter told me there wasn’t any available hot drinks of any type. No explanation was given. I asked about a cold drink. I was told there wasn’t any cold drinks either. No explanation was given. I said I wasn’t prepared to buy any food without a drink and left the cafe. How is this possible? Especially as the store has racks full of all sorts of cold drinks. Absolutely appalling service.

If i could leave minus stars I'd leave a minus 30 star. Delivery so bad after 2 attempts for one shopping load. Absolutely diabolical they cant get that right, i need a delivery at times because of my disabilities mean i personally cant do a physical shopping trip, but they couldn't deliver so i had no option but to cancel and request a refund.

I really hate ASDA Online order system. I make a order and they change item in my order without even inform me at my email .without any option to cancel it or refund. and they change a item what I want to the item what I absolutely hate. thank you so much that's was useless

So had Breakfast in the Cafe, it says on the wall FRESHLY PREPARED FOR YOU, TO EAT IN OR TAKE AWAY, it would seem you knew I was coming, so you prepared it the day before! everything about it was overcooked, eggs hard, Bacon done to a crisp, beans been stewed for a while, Hashbrown Shell, the potato in side must a done a runner, so overall not Good. Perhaps it was just a bad day? But I won't be back to see if it got any better.
