Lovely staff, clean and presentable. The Isle are similar in design between lidls makes it easy to find things. The alternating weeks are great bringing in different kinds of food and great deals

Not a bad place to shop, shelves can be a little empty at times but prices are reasonable and also a good choice of meats. Bakery has a nice selection too.

I was at Lidl shop in Abbot Road Colchester this morning at 08:40am to buy some few items and the staff who served me at the cash till was very nice with a smile 😃 on her face. She makes me feel welcomed to the shop and I look forward to visit the shop again because of her kind gesture at the cash till. Keep it up

First time I have visited here. The car park is quite spacious. Store is light ,clean, well stocked and aisles quite wide. I think I prefer it to my nearer store. Also staff were very friendly and spoke. Only thing missing is self service tills.

Rarely has the things I need in stock. Not many staff on the floor available/willing to assist customers. Bad quality cuts of chicken. However this place is significantly less expensive than Tesco, Sainsburys, etc.

My parents went to Lidl today in Abbotts Road cashier told my parents they are not allowed the buy egg product more than two we normally get two 12 eggs but they didn't have any so they wanted to buy 4 small ones (6) in the box and also been very rude to my parent I have contacted the customer service to complain lady over the phone very rude didn't even let me explain cut me off and hang up the phone to my face
