Was having such a stressful day and needed a space to take a break - this was perfect. Wifi was excellent and I managed to complete my work. Shout out to Jay who didn’t even serve me but just hearing his joyful and kind nature to other customers made my day honestly

Had a lovely meal at cafe 3 weeks ago for my lunch around 12. Today was told it was a breakfast item and therefore unavailable at 11.10! Very irritating as I had gone into Canterbury especially to treat myself so ended up paying £3.20 parking for nothing! If a manager is able to explain this to me I'd be more than grateful.

We have visited the cafe every week for the last year as my daughter has treatment at the MS center so we come here for lunch. We've never found any problems and always very satisfied with the food and service. Unfortunately the last few weeks when we've been they have run out of pretty much everything . My question is ' why can't they replenish the items with food from the food hall' instead of loosing customers. I love MS but feel a little disappointed having queued then told they've run out .

The self-service machines are terrible. It took 10 minutes to cancel one item which was scanned twice. The employee did not know how to cancel the product because the machines are new. Many other customers around me also had problems with the machines. It would have been quicker to go to a cashier.

Well. I never would have thought I would have given top marks for a M&S. We usually go to the one at Bluewater which is complete dirty, messy place with unhelpful staff.
Canterbury was clean, clothes were neat and easy to see and the staff were so helpful in finding a top for my husband.
Will definitely shop here again. Oh and also did a food shop and that went well too.

I normally don't write reviews, but this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had while visiting an optician. The actual optician was really kind, however the store manager was extremely rude. I ordered lenses and was ripped off. It was my first time buying lenses from M&S, and I paid £48 (originally £60 but 20% discount) and was given a single box of 6 lenses which is sold for £28.50 online on multiple websites. After trying to explain this to one of the people who work at the store, the manager approached me with a rude attitude and a large binder which she angrily dropped on the desk. She then accused me of throwing the box of lenses at her when I asked for a refund. I apologized to her even though I didn't throw it, but she still continued to be extremely rude and disrespectful. To have a store MANAGER treat a customer like that is extremely rude and unprofessional. Don't work a front-line job if you are going to disrespect your customers. I feel bad for everyone else at the store because they were all genuinely kind and helpful throughout all my appointments, but this was beyond the line.

Wrongly accused of theft. Perhaps if you teach staff to actually diagnose the problem with the self service till having a paper jam rather than listening to the loud mouthed women behind me claiming I hadn't paid, you wouldn't have had to acoste me on the way out. Luckily the till had printed out half the reciept before it jammed to show my innocence but doesn't feel great being stopped when you've done nothing wrong.

Always a pleasure to buy Food at M&S especially at Christmastime 🎄🎅🦌and even more so when a member of staff who was very kind, friendly and Helpful named Christopher was treating myself and sister the good old fashioned way and the way we all like to be treated ...so a BIG Thank you to Chrtopher may you have a fab Christmas, one you deserve and Thank you M&S 🎄🎅🦌🍷
