Sainsbury's

If you use the self-service tills you have to print and retain your receipt to be allowed to get out of the store!!! Absolutely insane, not to mention the significant increase in paper being used with everyone now having to get a receipt.

At least provide a paper recycling bin by the barriers.

Simultaneously treating you like a thief who has to prove they have paid for their goods to get out of the store and impacting the environment through excessive paper consumption!!

Yeah great place to shop. Was weirdly quiet with plenty of people about when I went in about six (pm) ish. It was eary couldn't hear people talking but there was plenty of them there. Then again that could just be me. Very pleasant staff. Eager to help. Safe

Less and less fresh food every time you visit. 6pm on Saturday last till closing. Had to do self scan with half a trolley full of food!!

The poor guy assisting was run off his feet.

We needed assistance about ten times where things wouldnt scan, or wouldnt register once we put them in the bag.

Lots of annoyed customers.

Several staff reducing food and stacking shelves.... but the Management have clearly taken the decision to leave customers who have actually reached the checkout to be the area where zero customer care applies.

Will continue to use for convenience items like bread but otherwise really wont bother any more.

A large store so lots of options but they've gone up in price over recent years and the quality in my opinion hasn't really improved to match it. It's still a good store though and I rarely have negative experiences. The only I time I did was one time when buying a whole chicken I discovered there were A LOT of "juices" when roasted so I have the suspicion the chicken had been injected with water to make it weigh more. More so than the standard whole chickens I've had from there in the past. But saying that I've had chicken thighs/breast/legs from there in the separate packets and they've all been fine. The argos in-store is also quite useful but they don't stock a huge amount so it's better to pre-order from them and pick up when you're doing your next food shop. The self-checkout in sainsburys I've rarely ever had to wait for.

Have just been shopping at Sainsburys St Albans as I regularly do and went to customer services to point out that a book I bpught the week before was a reduced price and £4 dearer on the receipt. The staff were so rude and unhelpful but one went to check the shelf and was still rude and disbelieving. I eventuly had the difference refunded without a please or thank you 😣

Sainsbury's has been my supermarket of choice for many years. I have always been able to purchase my foodstuff and cleaning materials when shopping here.

Thank you to Emily who kindly assisted me today, very much appreciated. I needed my items wrapped so they would not break. Emily went above and beyond!

Sainsbury a very good supermarket with loads of variety of products. I've been in many supermarket but this one is the best. The product you're looking for is there all the time. Very good customer service. Affordable prices for any kind of customers Sainsbury is always there for you. I highly recommend this supermarket.💯💫⭐🌟🏆
