Tesco Express

UPDATE 5 May '15: the store is back in it's messy state again, big metal trolleys & cardboard boxes line the centre of the store. I'll try and upload a picture.

I often pop into this store during my daily commute, and it's often in a messy, disorganised state. Their offers are sometimes really good though.

It seems there is semi-permanent stack of boxes in the store (hardly ever NOT seen it there), reducing the single middle aisle into 2 tiny aisles, such that you can't even pass a person properly.

The poor staff try their best to put on their brave faces, but the truth is it just suffers from terrible management.

Just moved to Putney looking for a nice local quick store. Despite being dirty and only having the essentials my main issue was the staff are completely rude. Honestly the worst treatment I’ve had in a shop and I didn’t even try query price or anything. I will never shop there again. Tesco loyalty card or not.

Friendly staff, eager to help. The stock could do with better upkeep, especially their sandwiches. Not sure where the negativity from the other reviews stem from, perhaps they are under new management as I frequent this branch multiple times a week and have not had a sour encounter.

Clean (with sanitizer and spray at the entrance) and safe store during this virus emergency compared to the big Sainsbury around the corner where the safety distance is not respected because too many people are inside the store all times. Staff is kind too but probably some of them are just temporary because of this emergency.

A little of everything but like other small Tesco's there's foul air as if something is rotting in the fridge

The security there doesn't know how to do the job, when you shopping always standing and following around you....😂😂😂
The black security needs to take security course before cames to work

I have been going to this Tesco for over a year and for the first time ever I was asked to show ID for red bull. Obviously I look over the age of 16! The man who asked me for ID had a bad attitude and would speak back to me with disrespect. I asked him “no one ever, including you have asked me to show ID why all of a sudden now do you want to see ID?? “ I don’t mind showing ID but when I have been going to the same place for over a year and them not asking, and then he asks me?!!! Since that day I have stopped going there.

No outside lines, always have my favourite meal deal, an attached cash point, havent used it in a while but the machine gives out £5 notes, i find that really useful. New card self check outs with dividers, its a little cramped, but efficient.
