Sainsbury's Local

Has the essentials, but doesn't often have what you really want and the selections are very limited. But what can you expect from a smaller store.

There is a car park at the back of the store, this is a council pay and display car park. Otherwise if you are paying a quick visit there is on street parking a short walk away on the main road.

Clean and tidy staff are friendly nice to see security back at the store as I saw him catching someone I use the shop everyday Good place

Thanks to Nadia for spotting that I was anticipating my bus arriving, she opened a till and served me there and then! I just missed my bus at the bus stop outside Sainsburys but, I actually (somehow) managed to run to the next bus stop and hop on it at the stop after! Legendary =)

A man who looks homeless with poor dreads wanders in there each morning, buying processed chicken, scotch pancakes and talks to staff about his dreams from the night before.

He needs to be destroyed.

Good to pop into if just going to or coming from the station, staff always very patient and very helpful

Popped in for a bottle of wine. Whilest waiting to be served an employee ~ older man with grey/white hair. His name badge was covered by a high vis waistcoat asked if we were going to pay at the kiosk. We said yes and he told us to hurry up! Rude tone not appreciated. There was a person being served in front of us! Not sure what we were supposed to do to speed the process up. Young lady on the till was very polite and helpful. The shop wasn't particularly busy we were wearing masks and following social distancing rules.

I used to pop in after my shift ended I like the store for convenience and some of the staff are great but a couple are very unfriendly and unmotivated retail is tough but if its to hot in the kitchen get out ill give another review in 6 months
