Sainsbury's Local

The staff are lovely. The selection is basic but fine for last minute bits. The reason for two stars is they are rarely open until 11pm as stated. My train gets in between 10.20pm-10.50pm depending on the service and I have often dashed over to pick up some food to find it closed. Sometimes with staff members giggling behind the glass.

Used to go here almost daily to buy my lunch but one day my pre - packed salad bowl had some sort of larvae snacking on my lettuce leaves.
I took it back to the store and had to argue with 2 staff members and then the manager because they didn't want to give my money back because the salad was open.
Joke is the girl on the till said 'We can't sell it again because it's open' - no lovey, you can't sell it again because it's crawling with maggots!
Needless to say I haven't been back.

i like this sainsbury however I dislike the african guy who stands at the door. Not only does he treat sainsbury like a club and hes the bouncer, he follows paying customers around and treats us like criminals and shop lifters. This man is rude and obnoxious, because of him id rather shop at the co-op, dont even care if things are pricier. Id rather pay more than be treated like a thief. the rest of the staff ive come in contact with are lovely and helpful, as well as respectful.

Small but good selection, the real highlight of this Sainsbury's is its staff - friendly, warm and always helpful. An essential touch, especially during lockdown!

Never anything there always out of stock what's crazy considering the amount of time delivery truck arrives and blocks road and pavement very disappointed every time I go today left went to Co op

Good store with large range of everyday products. Good for local people.

Staff are always very friendly and chatty when I pop in. However stock always seems low. Especially the sandwiches!
