Tesco Express

A fine store for some basics but is often out of stock in the evening, so have a back up plan. Or an open mind to select alternatives.

Huge benefit is the late opening times and price compared to the small independent convenience stores.

Staff are hard working - they always seem to be filling shelves - and helpful when asked.

You can find: sim cards, gift cards, magazines & newspapers, flowers, a small gluten free range, and usual convenience items.

Entrance is wide, however the store itself is a little tight for a wheelchair in places.

It's reasonably big for an "express" store and has a whole range of fruit, veggies, bread, cereals, frozen food, nuts and everything that you can think of ...! it's really a "go to" place for quick grocery if you come to this side of London. Infact, they have their self checkout service in this store too.

Very handy shop; well stocked with most items we need on a regular basis. Hours are great. Convenient! Can get quite busy at peak hours (after work before dinner etc) so keep that in mind.

Worse Tesco I’ve been to, the food is often spoiled or close to the expiry date. I bought 2 packs of raspberries and as I got home in realised they were unbeatable, same with some pancakes from warburtons that were packed and expiring the same day I bought them. Very disappointing, best to avoid this place!

Terrible shop. Many products missing and it is a pain to shop there, because you have to walk right out.

TERRIBLY RUDE STAFF

I used to go there literally everyday, the stuff is usually okay, but today a young lady literally THREW all my stuff & food on the floor bc apparently she was having a bad day. She went on refusing to pick it up, or serve me. Luckily another lovely guy helped me out and did my checkout. This Tesco ABSOLUTELY needs to RE-train their stuff, it is UN-ACCEPTABLE to behave like this young lady did!!!!
