Had a very bad experience here. Went into the shop to buy some drinks and unknowingly picked up 2 beer cans that is supposed to be sold as a pack of four. There were many loose beer cans on the shelf and no signs mentioning they were to be sold together. This was an honest mistake. When we took it for billing,The retail assistant,instead of letting us know that those items couldnt be sold loose,he started behaving rudely. He said, " People like you, Do this kind of stuff". Referring that we open up multipacks and take single items from there. And he also started saying other rude things. It was an honest mistake on our part as all the cans had no packaging holding them together, there were no signs or price tag on the shelf and as mentioned earlier, there were around 8-10 loose beer cans. We didnt want to deal with him anymore and was leaving when the man started shouting at my friend. He was Bangladeshi and said something offensive in bengali. He was unaware that me and my friend both speak and understand bengali as well. He started stereotyping us and saying more bad things, because we are south asian and went into the store wearing pyajamas.
He was threatning to not serve us until we apologized to him. I told him, it was an honest mistake and he could have told us that instead of racially stereotyping us. He said a lot of things to us in bengali. I did want to involve the police as I felt harrased but didnt as my friend thought better of it and left.
This sainsbury is my local store and I do all my daily shopping from here. Now I will never go back there.
Rude staff, rude behaviour and racist.

The supermarket is just next to Bayswater Station. Has many options for wet markets, fresh toast and more. Got a self -service counter and a regular counter.

I live just across the road and always go here. Just so much good standard bits and always organised, which i appreciate as it's so busy with tourists everyday. Staff and security are so lovely and always say hello. They deal with some weird folks and find they always handle situations professionally. Also recommend getting the Nectar app as it gives you discount on your most purchased items.

No self checkout for alcohol. Goes against Sainsbury policy don’t make up your own rules. Time wasters.

Popped by on a Saturday night to pick up some fruit and juice, the store was very busy with tourists, staff handled the rush well, directing tourists through the self serve checkouts to help ease the check out process, the store was a little unkept but understandable considering the amount of people in the store.

Staff very helpful and witnessed a local resident with mobility issues back to her home round the corner.

Regularly stock white lion duo bars.

Absolutely unpleasant staff at this branch I'm sorry to report. Tried asking a staff member for help in the store today, so I can see if an item was in stock i was after, i wanted to be directed to the correct aisle etc - so I'm seeking assistance and the man in the shop looks at you like rubbish. Very unpleasant customer service I'm afraid.
