Longdan Hoxton

Definitely one of the best Asian supermarket in London. It's not like the one in China Town where has many traditional Chinese materials. Longdan is more like a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, etc. The products range from raw materials to easy cook stuff and even some Japanese kitchen tools. Amazing.

Have a wide variety of Vietnamese food and ingredient, but somehow didn't have couple most popular items like Chinsu or Omachi.

Great little shop with a wide selection of Viet products that would be hard to find, decently priced too. Would highly recommend, nice staff too.

This was one of my favourite shop since 2014. I bought a fried tofu from here 2 hours ago today, 23/July/2022 and I found they were mouldy and the date written on the pacakge was 22/07/2022 which is yesterday.

I called up, a staff asked me to bring the item over to their shop for a refund.
I explained why it was not right and suggested to solve this by email or another better way. Because I should pay for the return bus fare plus over an hour journey for £2.60 refund, but he refused it.

I think it was their fault but I didn’t get the right service from them. It is also quite a shame it ruined dinner with my wife.

The most intruging place to find ingredients for Asian food, snacks and food utensils. I came here in search for rice paper for spring rolls. Not only did this store had this item but there were different variations of rice paper. I was very impressed. Also I found more variations of noodles and bought rice vermicelli too. I will be coming again soon. The staff were great too.

Great selection and reasonable prices but the total came to more than I expected and when I got home I found extra items (low value) in my bag. The cashier didn't give me a receipt or offer one so I think I was ripped off. Exercise caution!

My favourite Longdan, just the thought of thai basil maks me hungry and excited ! I THINK I SAW TAYLOR SWEFT IN THERE!
