Sainsbury's Local

This is the closest superstore near my home. Helpful staff, clean and I find most of the time topped-up shelves. Unlike other small stores- They do provide deals and offers (not talking about expiring items).
Someone commented saying had bad experience from a lady security staff, big I have seen few beautiful security ladies.

I expect a certain standard from a supermarket and this one falls below. The selection of chocolate and confectionery was poor not even gonna mention the over priced items

Disgusting customer service, & regard for health and safety. Today I was inside, they left Icecream melting while I was in the store for over 20 minutes. When I told the lady she said yer I forgot I’m going to do now. I told her you can’t they have melted that’s milk, you will make people sick. She said it’s only been there 5 mins. I had been in the store for 20 mins and they were there the whole time. That type of blantent disregard for health & safety couid make people really sick. Well done I won’t be going back . Also some of the staff could really do with a wash, that type of stink is more than a day of not washing

The last visit in this establishment either they can't process cards or in this time have cash but only 1 self-service accepting cash was block by someone waiting approval no one on the till no one on the floor just lonely security guy.

Been shopping there for years. Unfortunately, different staff, different treatment. A new employee (Indian) refused my id card when I was trying to buy cigarettes because he "doesn’t know this" and told me it’s only passport and driving license. Most of Londoners are not British, so yes some of them got different ID cards. Also, people are not walking around with their passports in the pocket to do cigarette shopping 5mn away from their house. You are not the police. Also, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to refuse a national document just because "you dont know it". Google is free.
Luckily, the situation has been resolved as his superior saw the stupidity of his action.

Despite the store opening a couple of minutes late, this store is a high benefit to the local area. The staff are always polite, helpful and respectful of social distancing measures. I’ve always managed to get what I’ve intended to purchase. Store is always clean when I arrive, produce is fresh and service welcoming. A special thanks to Chris, Mohammed and the Store Manager for always be so helpful.

Staff are nice and friendly, but quality of fresh produce is poor. We've just moved into the area and see a huge difference compared to our previous Sainsbury's local. It's a shame, as it's the only supermarket in the area.

Variety of products. Not a killer price. A lot of fresh stuff. You can find a lot of promotion, discounted prices. Over that don't forget to use nectar card for extra benefits. You can still pay cash if it's important.
