Tesco Esso Express

I work in front of the Tesco, so I am there everyday. I came in eating a protein bar that they even sell there and the security guy said I was stealing it .. I felt discriminated. Just to let the managers know to choose better their staff. It was at 9 pm in a thrusday.. so it can be easy identifying who is this security which is always with an bad mood. You shouldn’t treat your costumers like that. I definitely never come back to this store.

I come here to do my regular shopping as this is the closest Tesco to my place but I cannot say I would return if a new supermarket opened closer to where I live. The corridors are super narrow and the staff usually obstructs and acts like you, as a customer, are the one who is in their way. Not a pleasant experience shopping here.

Just tried to drop off an EVRi (aka Hermes) returns parcel as this is a dedicated ParcelShop on the EVRi website and the staff were of no help whatsoever. – this seems to be a common theme in this Tescos. According to the staff / manager they are not allowed to accept large parcels (ours was 50cm x 35cm). When I asked what size they can accept they didn't know and couldn't provide any information! They wouldn't accept the parcel as they've been told they cannot accept big parcels with no reference to what 'big' means. Not helpful at all and hugely disappointing. How can one make a decision on what parcel size they can accept when he is not willing to provide any guidelines in relation to sizing. The manager was dismissive and lacked any customer empathy or understanding - "it's not me who decides" was his reasoning. I now have to find another place that will accept the parcel having walked about a mile to drop it off.

Worst store ever. Their lack of communication and cleanliness…..
their opening hours are a complete lie … they offer EVRI / HERMES parcel service and they only allow for collection between 8am -7pm and after this they won’t help at all. Meanwhile their opening hours are until 11pm …
They don’t bother to update this on their site to say that only shopping services are available during this hours and parcel pick up service time differs from this. Just complete joke of store.
I have never had this in ang other Tesco or CO-OP. Last time I wanted to drop off a parcel and they wouldn’t scan it and said the machine was broken and sent me somewhere else … I sent a friend in after with the parcel who asked a different member of staff and they did it for her. Just lazy people

Well stocked Tesco, however the manager is so awful to customers. When it’s busy he will shout and point at customers as if he’s in charge of them. A really awful person. Should probably not work in retail or customer service.

This area customers some of them so rude & arrogant. They are thinking 💭 they are customers means whatever they can write it out & they can add whatever in sentence. Because of they thinking nothing recorded. And no proof of we talking.
Just write. But please think and write. We should know they are also until they working hours we r only customer. Once they finish the shift after they also as a customer. They doing shopping like us. So they know how to treat to while they are working.
Because of they are working in a system so they know what answer they want to give you and how to respond the customer.
And while they pulling the cage they always saying sorry sir/madam i want to go this said. But still some of them write they didn’t says or they talk rudely. And that time they said i m your customer and then they sowing attitude. & after go home & write comments.

OPEN EVERY DAY 24 HOURS! Absolute rubbish! Closed every night! How Tesco allowed this it's shameful! The staff close the shop as they like, and if you complain they gang up on you, like gangster in a Tarantino movie.
Castomers don't deserve this!

So rude staff specially asian guys i went three time at between 5am to 6am and all the times they said its closed when i asked the reason why everyday closed is it not 24 hours and the guy was very rude and said closed mean closed you don't have to asked .don't know how Tesco hire and manage such a rude staff .They have no care for customer at all
