I’m going to review the features within this store and then give my final review. Starting with:
Customer Service: The customer service in this store is pretty good considering how busy the store usually is. The members of staff are generally easy to find when you're roaming the isles and they’re helpful too when you're asking for assistance or guidance within the store.
Selection/Services: There’s quite a nice range of services available within the store which is nice since it’s one of the biggest supermarket stores within the area. The store features a bakery which has a lot of nice fresh baked goods and a burrito kitchen for those looking for alternative food choices to eat during lunch hours. All this is in addition to the Tesco selections available within your typical Tesco store.
Queues: Despite the size of the store and how busy it gets during the peak hours, the members of staff working by the self-service checkouts do a good job of keeping the queues moving really well. I never really linger within the queue long enough to feel any frustration as you tend to in other places, which is much appreciated. Hats off to the members of staff for that.
Hygiene: The store is pretty clean. Nothing to complain about or say much about. I’m only mentioning it to spread awareness for how well kept and clean the store generally is.
Summary:
Overall, I like this store and my experience within it has always been positive - if you’ve been to it yourself you’d see why. It has A LOT to offer and its size makes it ideal for those looking to do some of their weekly grocery shopping or simply top up on household goods.

I used to go here daily for lunch, up until today. After using the self checkouts, and using the last of my funds on my card to purchase lunch, the transaction failed and the money was taken. I was told to wait to speak to the manager. After 45 minutes of waiting I was told there was nothing they could do, and even though I was in daily, and could show evidence of the transaction, that they could not possibly comp my £3 meal deal. Avoid this metro if you can. Staff are complete jobsworths

Quite a decent sized Metro. Carries a decent range and is normally quite well stocked. The staff are generally attentive and helpful. I only normally visit Sundays so it’s fairly quiet. Only usually 3 self service tills open. They do close promptly.

Quite a nice branch. Medium sized. Well laid out. Staff are pleasant. As this is located in a business area, if you go later in the day after lunch then product range is limited! Go early. Till area needs a clean.

Thought this was a very large and very well stocked Tesco's. Had many more options for prepared food and veggies than some of the other inner city shops.

A regular here, but on Saturdays the closing times differ to what website says....says midnight but very often it's closed even before 10pm. They should change these times online to warn customers.

Best Tescos In the city. The selection are fantastic but most of all there hot food counter is the best. To have the hot chicken pieces and hot sausages was a good call and can't stop eating. Perfect to buy something small on the go. Thank you Tescos.

I was a regular at this Tesco, but now I won't set foot in here again!
Advertised online that this Tesco closes at midnight, however, I was refused service at the cigarettes counter 40 minutes before closing time, and told at 23:20, " We have stopped selling cigarettes, because the cigarettes counter is now closed. "
I know that cigarettes isn't good, but as a smoker without cigarettes, I was in well before closing time, and then only to be refused cigarettes."
For nearly a decade of coming here, and after all of the money of which I have spent inside this Tesco, I take this as an insult, because that certain member of staff couldn't be bothered to serve me ( The Customer ) due to pure laziness.
I will never set foot inside this Tesco again, and that's a promise!
For now on I will spend my hard earned money in Sainsbury's or the Co-op!
