New M&S Food Hall opened today, 142 Streatham Hill. Great New store, just a minute walk or less from Streatham Hill train Station. It has a Click and Collect counter for the collection of goods ordered from their website. It sells all the things you expect it to sell such as bread, rolls pastries at the back of the store. It has a section for Gluten Free products, as well as everything else you would expect to see in an M&S Food Hall. It also has self service checkouts which is a plus. Decent food, at okay prices. A disgusting overuse of plastic, especially on meat and produce. They’ve replaced workers with self checkout and haven’t bothered to make it work. The self checkout machine pictured below has been out of order for FOUR MONTHS. Add that to the tills they don’t even open and there is always a queue.

Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Great quality fruit and veg. Always very well stocked too. Love that we have this great shop on our high street.

The automatic till worked for once. The staff seemed jolly today and not rude. Not everybody wants auto tills but there is no option I think...

Staff always helpful. Shelves and fridge always full with fresh produce. Great bread. Always long queues at the till but there is a self scan too

Nightmare: Only self checkout and the till doubled everything I scanned! No human checkout available. AVOID

Perhaps the manager of this store needs to read the reviews. I am disabled and the self service tills are difficult for me and to use and actually cause me pain in my hands. Why did the store remove the staffed tills, Stop catering to just the yyoung people only and look at who spends regularly in your store

Nice clean store, with a good selection. With a excellent in house bakery now. My only gripe is the self-service till.
