Tesco Express

I am saddened to say, although I am a loyal Tesco customer, weekly shopping at Elmer's End Superstore, I find this tiny little express store a complete joke. I don't even think the Manager has the experience and knowledge to run such a store. Twice now I have been over charged for items that were on special offer. I let the first time off, but this morning was the last straw. Get rid of the clown running this store and interview one of the monkeys at London Zoo. I'm sure they will do a better job. Oh and all this is factual.

Convenient, but understaffed and overcrowded. The place is usually a mess and the shelves are often empty. The last time I was there, the place was so full of customers that it was difficult to move around, but there was only one member of staff on duty. They also make bizarre stocking decisions, such as stocking buttermilk but no cream.

I only visited because I have not been to this branch which I my bus goes passes all the time.
The only annoying thing is that you have to cross three sets of traffic lights to get there.

This Tesco store is nested inside the Saffron Central Square, East Croydon. The store is open from 6:00 to 23:00 and you can purchase any grocery stuff here. On top of regular grocery stuff they all sell tobacco and wine at their store. Highly recommended.

It's good in terms of products available. However, I prefer Sainsbury's as it's cheaper and has a wider range of products. Ofcourse if you're near the place you can always check it out. Also, they keep changing their staff and you end up having a mixed experience. I went there last month and the cashier was very rude and nonchalant. Other than that, I've had a good experience.

Normally a good experience, but at 6:44am Sunday 9th Jan. Knocking on the window of tescos to the cashier, who just turned everyone away with a can't be bothered attitude. Tesco's state on the outside. Open everyday from 6am. Was appalled

I put hundreds of pounds over the counter at this place every year. But two or three times a month, after paying, the staff chase after me claiming the self serve till hasn't registered the payment. It's the only place I have this problem. It's a Tesco card in a Tesco till. NOT HAPPY
