Tesco Express

Worst Tesco I've ever visited. Staff are more concerned with chatting while blocking the aisles and carelessly wonder past the long lines of people waiting. Stock is poorly managed and "chilled" items left out on shelves. Further to this, the staff are incapable of customer service to those of another nationality. It is saddening to witness pleasant conversation in foreign languages and when trying to interact pleasantly in English being ignored while your items are scanned carelessly and tossed back at you. I genuinely feel racial tension here and cannot believe this store culture is tolerated by such a massive company.

Was shopping there today at around 9-9 pm. No hello, hi or any greeting from the cashier. Then the card reader didn't work properly and showed a blank screen. He commanded me to enter the PIN anyway - so without saying "please".

I refused as I don't trust such a dodgy functioning device. So I paid in cash. No "please", "thank you" or any other word from the cashier when I handed over the cash. No other word as well.

The rudest treatment I have received in the UK since I came here more than 3 years ago. Judging from the other reviews it might be racism in this shop against white people. I am white so it could be.

I go there a lot, at least once a day and the staff has always been nice and friendly except the security guy of the morning shift, he is so rude. I go there with my kids 2 and 5 and he doesn’t let them do anything, he is all the time stop doing this stop doing that and today he was shouting to me. It was so disrespectful. As long as they are not touching any product or they’re not doing any mess he has no right to talk to me like that. I am so disappointed

Quite narrow aisles, the entrance way is also very tiny as you walk straight into a shelf full of crisps etc.
I have been going there to collect Hermes parcels for the last few weeks but have stopped as you can never find a member of staff on the shop floor and when you do they tell you to join the queue (which is always long). When you get to the front of the queue the cashier tells you to stand to the side & then you have to wait a few more minutes for someone to come from out back. Then they take another few minutes to find the parcel & bring it out. To be honest the location is good but it just takes too long to collect a parcel.

Cashiers treat white people as if they were ghosts. They don't greet even if you greet them, they don't even look at you and they throw your items when they scan them. Also, when it's your turn in the queue, they yell very aggressively "yes please". I always feel treated with a lot of contempt even though I am always polite

Attempted to make me pay twice for items I had already paid for due to a fault in their system. Rude unhelpful staff. Security guard called me a derogatory word as I walked out.

Staff is really unprofessional...shelves are always empty...New manager looks clueless...and security guard is a bully...

I go into this tesco and I feel like I walked into New Delhi. #Whitelivesmatter
