Large Sainsbury’s store. Argos is inside. Customer toilet is available. Free parking for 2 hours if you purchased at here for more than £10. You need to ask staff to give you a QR code voucher and validate your parking at the machine outside.

Not great at all. There are never enough baskets, which is ridiculously infuriating. The trolleys have minds of their own and are difficult to control, when you can get a working one! The store is shabby and always feels grubby, like it could do with a re-lift and good clean. The stock is highly variable and shelves are often empty. The queues for the self serve tills always seem to be long. Hardly ever any available checkout staff. If you're lucky they may have one or two! I have to say that this is probably one of the worst Sainsbury's stores I've come across. Being in Bromley and serving such a big clientele/group of people you'd expect more. It's such a shame because it just feels like a store that no one really cares about and the staff are there out of absolute necessity and nothing else. The new parking system is a faff! Not sure why Sainsbury's spent money on installing a new parking system, instead of improving the overall store - one would increase your customer footfall, whilst the other achieves the complete opposite! Despite it being such a poor store, I used to be in there at least 4 times a week. Now I avoid it and probably go there once or twice a month. Sainsbury's should sort it out, or let someone else interested in providing a decent sevice open up there instead.

Feels like the location is horribly understaffed for the amount of people that go through this place each day.

Very rarely have baskets out front to use, one man always running a packed self service, the row of traditional checkouts which has enough space for several active checkouts, usually only has one or two staffed at the best of times.

Tends to lead to extremely long lines, cramped self service checkout as people push trolleys through, for a location in a dense area of bromley, they never seem prepared for peak hours.
Desperately need to hire a expanded team, only times I'm confident I'll sort my shopping at a decent time is end of day.

Recently felt a bit let down by the new barrier system out in place. Have to scan receipt to exit checkouts. Can understand why it's done but makes you feel undervalued.

Never enough tills open. The self service tills never work very well and they take up way too much space.
Personally I feel that getting rid of half of them and actually having more cashiers would improve the store dramatically.
There are some really nice store workers there that makes shopping there just about worth while.

Always reliable for items I want. Even open on Monday, 26th, when other stores were closed. Have 4 stores & a superstore near me, not to mention 2 Sainsbury's locals, so, easy to get items, even if out of stock at one store, just visit another one. And Nectar means I get regular discounts on prices!

The shop itself has a great variety and is often stocked well. However, beware with the parking. You need to receive a parking ticket at the till, then enter your number plate and scan ticket at the units outside. If you don't, expect a significant fine through your letter box!
