Lidl

I popped in to get some flowers for Mother's Day superb selection and very good prices. All the bunches looked good and healthy. The staff were very friendly and quick at the checkouts. The rest of the store looked well stocked , clean, and tidy.

Unfortunately when I got home I saw the date on some of the vegetables and fruit and it shocked me to see they were a few days past their sell date but I should have checked rather than just expect but I was going to use some peppers on the same day but they had mould on the stalks and inside them so not a great time there. The pasta salads are a bit strange on the flavour profile and the mayonnaise tasted quite odd so but not terrible but I was hungry and in a rush so I won't be buying any of those again. The selection of international food is good and the polish cherry and raspberry chocolate was delicious. There is plenty of room for improvement as usual but otherwise everything else was delicious.

Unfortunately, when I visited this Lidll the shelves were almost bare. Still plenty in the fresh bakery, so that was a bonus.

I've always found the Spennymoor Lidll to have better stock and more of it.

Went today 3rd November no pots to go with Poinsettia no fresh Ducks no Radios no Xmas cards why put them in the leaflet??

Great discount supermarket. All you need at a great price!

Everything is going up price wise fair enough not just Lidl but to price something that was £1.99 to now £4.46 is rediculous i put it back on the shelf

I'd give it 0 stars if I could; most of the food was out of date, which wouldn't be too bad if it said that, or was just on cupboard food. However, nearly all the fresh meat was at least 2-3 days out of date, with some being 5-7 days out of date. Not only is this a serious health code violation, but it also means that all the other fresh meat with it, is potentially contaminated.

If you want to cut down on your shopping bill use Lidi, buy their premiere lines & you won't be disappointed .
