Tesco Express

I used to shop here daily when I worked at the hotel down the road, staff are charming, specially Tristan who will be missed and Kellie who is always kind and helpful. Big up for the team, eff TESCO'S corporate greed.

Waiting outside in the rain after 7am and they should be open at 6?? The security guy told me 3 minutes and 10 minutes later i was still waiting so i gave up and my colleague went back 10 minutes later. Why advertise you open at 6 when you clearly dont!!

My girlfriend went to buy beer and I waited outside. The staff refuse to sell beer to her just because he saw us together and I didn’t present an ID????? Dude I was not the one buying it!!! Seriously what’s wrong with the policy? You can’t ever buy alcohol because you are known to have a child at home????? OR IS IT JUST BECAUSE WE ARE ASIAN????

I just popped in to get my bits for dinner after a really rough day at work and I was honestly bowled over by how your staff member - Lily - went above and beyond to help me. She was ferrying around to get the bits from the back and check you had them in, she was comparing prices, and ultimately giving me a dream customer experience. It was *that* good that I was driven to ask her name and inform you! Safe to say I’ve never reviewed a tesco before on Google but she deserves the recognition. Thanks Lily, Bristol tesco express is lucky to have you!!

Well stocked, self service check outs and good meal deal range

Small shop with most if the basic needs if you run out of produce at home. Staff seemed happy and were friendly.

Good for a meal deal or a couple grocery items in a pinch but the selection is rather limited. Big opportunity to expand with the business next door closed down. I hope they consider this especially considering this is a rapidly growing part of the city and so naturally the foot traffic will only increase. :)
