I would like to share my experience at this "lovely" shop that I had today, cuz I never meet such a disrespectful customer service ever...
I tried to buy a bag of low fat cheese and at the till price totaly differes from what we have on shop floor , bar code of produc are same as it is on price point but I was charged extra! Cashier at the till told me in a rude way that price are right and don't want to sell me product at price point from shop floor (buy for wrong price or leave).
I asked nicely if I can speak with a manager but I was answered that manager is not available in the shop and they run bussines without any manager all week except Monday.
At the end I want to say that I was treated disrespectful as a costumer and would like to advice people to think about other shop before entering Pelene, price are different at the till and this is not first case!

Perfect store ! Great selection of foods, several varieties of kefir and lovely bread. Read in the reviews some complaints about the security guard - he is doing his job well and actually guarding...
Only improvement would be for them to offer a receipt without you having to ask for it.

I would like to thank a waitress, who worked on 9th Feb at Cafe. The food was delicious and service was excellent and friendly. The Cafe is so nice and pricing is really affordable for everyone. Great service.

I went today and wanted a particular herring salad from the deli bar, two wonderful ladies. The lady who served me and gave wonderful tips to an English lady learning about Lithuanian food and the amazing lady who made a fresh herring, mayo and mushroom salad for me while I waited. Delicious sausage and cabbage for lunch - wish I’d bought more. Would love to know how to make the cabbage or if you can buy it to heat up at home. Wonderful shop, amazing staff - thank you

They updated the price of their bananas to 99p per KG which is now a reasonable price.

Also they have a product range which is different to what you may find elsewhere.

I bought a herring salad with onions today. Unfortunately, it turned out to be overdue, and the smell and taste are very rotten. Is someone responsible for the freshness of salads?

I’ve tried not to review but this shop is a joke. It could work fine if the staff would be more nice to people.
One day I was looking for something, couldn’t find it so asked her for help.
She literally looked at me like I own her £100.. replayed something in Lithuanian and left.
Been there few times and every time I can see that they are so grumpy with everything.
“Security” looking at you like you’re criminal.
Last week went there, got few thinks, came home and realised that one of the item had Best Before: January
I understand that there is a certain items still will be good to eat, however as a shop you need to check your products and consider to remove it from the shelves no?!
Such a shame..
