Tesco Express

Great location by the train station stocking some essentials and then some. Staff are friendly, and the stock is quite well organized. I went in looking for a Monster Espresso which I've never seen before, and I had no trouble finding it. With the self-service tills, you can be in and out in seconds. Would recommend for a quick shop, but do keep in mind it's still quite expensive.

A very big thank you to Clifford, the security guard, who came out of then store to help me when I tripped and fell over because of the uneven pavement on 20th June 2019 at about 17:15pm. Many thanks to everyone who stopped and offered their assistance and to the gentleman who asked if I needed an ambulance. Helen

Quite nice store with the essential for cooking, and other basic stuff you might need. The problem is there are always homeless people asking you for money specially on night.

Don’t get your parcel delivered at this store cause the staff will lose it. I went to pick up a parcel which was delivered on a Friday late afternoon and went to pick it up on the following Monday after the weekend & the staff at the store tells me they don’t have it and shrug it off when it clearly said on the postal company app that it was ready for collection and delivered at the store. The evening staff over the weekend there are clearly thieves. I was warned about this store before that they either ‘lose’ parcels or don’t send it off and unfortunately I have experienced this myself.

We visited today just before 11pm .the lady that served us rushed us to get our bottle of wine through as she couldn't process it after 11 . Good old fashion service, she is a credit to your store !

Not having good customer service. Not well trained staffs. We have been using vouchers since more then 3 years now by just showing copy of it on paper or image on mobile, and now suddenly the new guy is asking for email and all details!! What a waste of time, you only need bar code to scan and it’s done..learn some customers service first then do your job

Never enough people on the tills in this branch. Self checkouts are also positioned horrendously - not enough space around them.
There are always people begging in and around the store too.

This used to be a very good local Tesco store with value for money own brand products stocked for the local community who couldn't reach the bigger stores..... They have now discontinued stocking own brand lemonade, orange, cola, mayonnaise, ketchup & other products. Leaving premium brands on the shelves only! £2.50 for a small mayonnaise tube!!!!!!
