If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely disgusting rude section leader they don't help the were very rude I shop here every day well I won't be now. When I ask a question I don't expect some one to be rude it's a simply question about a product . I will be shopping at other stores from now on

My recent experience of online grocery shopping at Asda has been appalling.

The failure of Asda to respond to issues following delivery, and subsequent complaints, evidences that lack of concern for their customer and customer experience.

I placed an order with Asda online, for delivery on the 5th December.

The order arrived on time however a crate of various items was not received in the delivery.

Assuming the crate was still on the van, as soon as I noticed various items were missing, I called Asda Customer Services.

I was informed they would contact the local store and the van would be checked for the missing crate.

I did not receive a callback as assured and contacted Asda again by phone and was informed the crate had not been located on the delivery van.

I was assured they were taking the issue seriously and a refund would be processed for the missing items.

20 days later, despite numerous calls, promises of callbacks, emails, a suggestion of "escalating" my complaint, I have been ignored and dismissed at every point.

Telephone customer service at Asda is appalling. The ability to communicate with someone who you can understand on the phone cannot be underestimated.

The Customer Services email has now "closed" its mailbox and no longer responds to email enquiries.

To say I am shocked at the lack of communication and consideration of customers is appalling.

I would advise all customers receiving deliveries from Asda Clayton Green to check each item off your order list as you unpack the crates.

Unfortunately, my consideration for not holding up the delivery drivers has backfired.

I would recommend avoid shopping with Adsa online unless you are happy to pay for items subsequently delivered to other customers on the days delivery route.

No parking issues, clean store, just enough staff on the tills. It's one of the better stores. Petrol station as well, with 4 self-service pumps.

Wide choice of products, good prices. A lot of services on site (coinstar, Timson, recycling points for plastic bags and filter cartridges, and more)

I'm not a regular shopper at this store but have just been in for a few items. Never again! While hunting for the item i wanted in the chilled isles an employee, complete with steel toe capped boots, was standing on the lowest shelf of the chiller so that he could reach items at the back of the top shelf. There were ready meals next to his boots. Unhygienic or what ?!
I did try to phone the store to report this but "due to unprecedented demand" they were unable to connect me.

Great local supermarket with a remarkable selection of men's footwear and everything else is very reasonably priced. Hot food counter is often empty, but other than that supply issues are few and far between. My only real gripes are that there are rarely enough tills open for the numbers of customers, the DIY section has been mostly gotten rid of, and stock is constantly being moved around so you'll go in there one day and the place you remember having crisps in it is now filled with drinks.
