Waitrose & Partners Formby

Good range at this shop of quality items. But that comes with quality prices - you get what you pay for! Cafe not bad, but not for full English, nearest is a bacon roll earlier mornings. Do need more clearing away staff, or a dirty tray stack system, especially at busy times, when many tables have previous occupant’s remains.

Staff are wonderful and really helpful, a great range of products and so much choice for a smaller store. Keep up the good work

Shopping at Waitrose Formby a couple of weeks ago, was one of the best experiences I have had for over a year in any shop. Lovely friendly attentive knowledgeable staff who guided me around this store which was not familiar to me, not living in the area. Craig on Fresh Meat & Fish deserves special thanks for his recommendations. Thoroughly enjoyed our surf and turf meal that evening, all provided by Waitrose. Highly recommended store. Thank you.

3rd time that this store have rang to inform us they can't deliver on the morning of delivery. The last time they delivered they dropped off someone else's shopping which I put away, only for them then to return and ask for it back

I think Waitrose have a big problem with parking facilities! I joined the back of a queue of cars waiting to get into the car park. My first thought was that Waitrose was busy. However, I did notice a lot of people entering the car park with shopping bags of shopping (not shopping from Waitrose) and people leaving the car park with empt shopping bags. I had to circle the car again to find a space . Inside Waitrose I thought it would have been very busy but it was relatively quiet in comparison to the number of cars in the car park.
Surely other shoppers have noticed that Waitrose car park is used for the whole of Formby Town shopping centre!! I don't have any complaints with Waitrose shopping, only the parking spaces taken up for non Waitrose shopping.
That's why I gave it three stars

4th February not a good day to shop here. The rank smell from the fish counter assaulted my nostrils and lingered through my trolley dash in the store. Apart from that, this is usually a good example of a Waitrose & Partners with high prices and friendly staff. It has a large car park and provides easy access to other shops in the area.

Wasn't over excited about this shop... More expensive than others. Quality might better with some vegetables but that's all really. Overrated a little bit. Sorry. Staff are nice no issues. The local people acting posh but I think it's pretty fake. I personally wouldn't go back there...
