Sainsbury's

Great for quick shopping for you casual house products. The opening hours are very convenient and will allow you a lot of time to choose exactly what you are looking for.
Staff members are very friendly and easy to find anywhere around the store.

I visit here a lot - closest supermarket to where I live, within walking distance. A lot is said about big supermarkets, how impersonal they are, but the staff here are the complete opposite. Many of them have been here for years, they know the store inside out, and are incredibly helpful when you need them. It's not a mega store but it's very rare that they don't have things in stock. That's why I will continue to use this store - good prices and great staff, and nearby. Can't fault it.

Was torn between scoring 3 or 4 stars. Nice, clean layout in store, checked out at self service. The reason I chose a 3, is because of quite a limited and dated choice of groceries. When I moved to Crawley nearly ten years ago, I used to do my main shop here. However, less choice now than then. Also, I think the store is over stocking a lot of lines, as use by dates are very short

Great social distancing, queues not too long,
The only thing is that the staff seem too have lost thier spark and smiles. I guess they have worked hard through Covid and maybe had to put up with difficult customers at times. I hope they get a bonus for the work they have put in over the last few months since the pandemic begun. Keep up the great work

I always love going into sainsbury's as the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
There is always someone around to ask if you can't find something that your looking for and they will always show you where abouts in the shop it is.
They will also ask you if you need help with packing your shopping.
It will be a real shame to see the branch of sainsbury's to close.

I went to this store yesterday and was shocked to find it to be too packed for such a small store and no one was paying attention to social distancing! .. it was mentioned on the intercom, to stay distanced but no stickers on the floor, like people had told me would be the case, as it was in other shops.
I have anxiety disorder and pior to this, I had been self isolating for 5 days and was incredibly nervous to leave the house. I was reassured that all shops were now carrying out proper safety measures for customers and their staff.. So when I found myself in this situation, I freaked out and got out as soon as possible. Having panic attacks and crying for the rest of the day. I now feel too scared to leave the house again 😥
Sainsburys, please look after your customers and staff!

Fantastic shop, I can shop local and not have to get in my car and go to a superstore! The staff are helpful and kind. Shame they are closing this Sainsbury's at the end of January, putting profits above providing an essential service to Crawley residents! I hope Tescos or COOP move in or we will have no food store in town anymore 😐

This is not the biggest of the Sainsbury's but you will find all essentials you will need usually. I tend to do all my groceries from Sainsbury's nowadays to restrain and maintain my social distancing as much as possible. Staff is very helpful (if you need; although I don't think you will). Food items are pretty fresh as expected and the store is clean as well unlike few others in the area. My only reason for removing a star from the rating is because of the lack of some specific items like Periperi Sauce, and limited availability of some chocolates (which I am very fond of and tend to buy in bulk to last a couple of weeks). Overall, I would definitely recommend this store without any doubt. The Argos is also right next door in case you are looking for one although the availability of items in Argos can vary.
