Lidl Feltham - Friday 2nd September 2022 - 10:43

Big car park, don’t forget to scan your receipt and enter your number in the consoles just past the tills, otherwise you could end up with a fine.

Nice big store and normally well stocked.

Todays visit was spoiled by the woman (Asian, mature, long hair, couldn’t see a name badge)looking after the self service tills.

As I approached the tills the employee was at the end till chatting to a customer; she did help her with a couple of things that didn’t scan but essentially she was standing chatting.

I bought 18 bottles of water and put them through the till but I know they won’t fit in the bagging area so I left them in the trolley and called for assistance. The staff normally come over and tap their fob and override the till so it thinks the items in the bagging area.

I waved and said “excuse me” she looked and then carried on talking. I waited and called again and was ignored; the third time I had to walk towards her and tell her I wanted assistance.

She strolled over, dragging her feet, tapped the fob on the till and did her bit and turned away.

She obviously didn’t like being interrupted whilst having a conversation and I do truly apologise that as a customer who needed assistance I didn’t just stand there and wait until she deemed it necessary to do her job.

The rest of the staff are always helpful and polite and don’t have the seriously bad attitude of the member of staff today and because of today’s experience I am only giving 4 stars.

Passing through this Lidl on a Friday afternoon I decided to drop in as I needed to buy some essentials. I recommend lidl, I always find what I need at the best prices on the market. To be even better and perfect, they could have more variety of fish. They have a good range of fruit and veg and canned produce. They also have a wide range of toiletries and household items. Many cheap bargains to be had. In this store in Feltham they have a 90 mins parking policy so if you want to park here for 90 mins you need to buy some items once done scan the barcode and enter your car reg and you can park here. The staff where so friendly and the store was clean. A nice experience in this store which seems better quality than some other Lidl’s.

Some good value items in store. However, make sure you check your till slip as I was cheated out of £4.10 today on my shop - it frustrates me when they put a price by an item and then at the till they charge a different price - it is impossible to check everything going through the till one by one that you’re been charged the correct price - it shouldn’t be the customers responsibility!!

I'd never been to a Lidl store until now, but was pleasantly surprised, and I've since returned. As I had hoped, it stocked plenty of authentic German food, and an excellent choice of other items that are not available at other supermarkets, including the horrendously downmarket Aldi.

However, there are two negatives: I have only seen one till open at a time, causing queues at the self-checkout machines. The other negative is that of all the beers it stocks, there is no German dark beer and no Guinness Original. In fact, it doesn't stock any stout at all! Had the till situation been better, I would have given five stars.

Lovely discount supermarket tucked away near Feltham train station. Has wide range of products at exceptionally low prices, quality is still good despite low price. Customer service is good as staff are friendly and professional.

LIDL is just next to the Feltham Train Station. They have quite an extensive range of fresh produce as well a in-house bakery where you can get Freshly baked pastries and bread. The prices generally are cheaper then Sainsbury, Tesco and ASDA most of the time. Ample parking, but just make sure to validate your receipt at the in-house carpark validation stations (i.e. Screens). Generally price vise they are around 10% to 15% cheaper then other stores, while thier own branded smart price products might be almost 20% cheaper thean mainstream stores.

Nice store with full shelves. Make sure you scan your receipt after the shopping if you have driven there. Otherwise, you will get a parking fine.
