I must bring to your attention what I consider a serious health and safety issue.

I had taken my shopping basket to the till and had half loaded it onto the conveyor to be scanned by the member of staff. The previous customer had paid and was finishing packing her trolley. The entire time this was happening and whilst waiting, the member of staff had two fingers inside her wide open mouth and was using her long painted fingernails to try and dislodge something obviously stuck in her back teeth. She was doing this for at least a solid minute. I was absolutely disgusted thinking she was about to then handle all of my shopping which was largely for my children!. I began to try and quickly put all my shopping back into my basket so she couldn't touch any of it but I wasn't able to in time and she began scanning it. I was very close to having quite an angry outburst to be honest. However, I had my daughter with me. So I had to take it home and thoroughly disinfect every surface of all the packaging. Then I ended up throwing away a bunch of items I'd purchased anyway as they had porous packaging or for example the butter which isn't entirely sealed because it just turned my stomach to think of this ladies mouth contents and germs having possibly reached a spot I couldn't disinfect.

This surely cannot be tolerated in a food orientated environment. The member of staff didn't wipe her fingers on a tissue or even on her clothes. Meaning her saliva and germs were transferred onto my purchases, all across the till station and buttons etc. I'm just stunned. How disgustingly unsafe and unhygienic! People are only dying of covid!.

Click and collect used to convenient and a good service- now the staff are just ignorant and lazy! Did an order and got a notification saying x3 items have no been available I stock (not even offered an alternative) got the message about 5 mins before I pulled up so thought I'd go in and check- guess what took me 2 mins to find all items that the collector couldn't be bothered to find stating they're out of stock, not interested in the excuse of they might have restocked the items by the time they did click and collect, which is rubbish as it was minutes apart and conveniently only my 3 items suddenly re appeared. Then after that, notified I was ready and click and collect it was 15 mins siting there waiting! So the whole quick convenience of it all ended up taking about and extra half an hour of my time - which I didn't have hence why I needed click and collect

A Lot Dearer than Aldi but cheaper than Tesco ...diesel is dearer here than the Esso station on the A12 .... Not a good store for families struggling with money thanks to the restrictions on value goods ...I have a family of 4 but am limited to 3 tins of baked beans...hmmm I wonder why I go to Aldi 99% of the time nowadays ...oh yes it's because they allow me to buy 4 tins of beans or 4 packets of spaghetti...you know food in amounts big enough to feed a family of 4 for a few days without constantly driving to the supermarket....Asda you really know how to loose customers.

Used click and collect, the collecter didn't put in Sudafed so questioned it and he said oh there wasn't any, right ok so if I check in the shop there won't be any there he said no. I went in the shop there were 5 packets on the shelve. Got home and noticed there were 2 items missing that I've had to ask for a refund- this isn't the first time it's happened with that same collector. He doesn't bother to check the items and skips though the orders.
His excuse was about the Sudafed when I asked there might have been some put out since I asked when did he check he said an hour ago - that's odd as I rang when to let them know I have arrived for collection he said I'm still packing your items as behind on time this was at 5:15, my collection time was 5-5:30 and I arrived at 5 items came out at 5:25. So don't lie to me as well as skip past half of the items ordered.

Ash is alright. When they have something online you go to the store to buy it and you have to buy it online. Beautiful! Let down after I went there to buy some alcohol. They shouldn't advertise it online if you can't buy in the shop for the same price
