I love this store it is so big and shelves are usually normally fully stocked. Amazing range of stuff even gluten free and vegan. Staff are always friendly. They do great reduced stuff too!

I walked in and thought I walked into a Walmart (I'm from Canada and didn't expect to find a store this huge in the UK). Everything looked very clean and the shelves were well organized. I only walked in to buy one item and walked out with much more than that. I also did some price scouting for my next grocery trip. Seems to be a decently priced option.

Shocking customer service
Ordered a click & collect.
Turned up at the allotted time & the van wasn't there.
I waited a few minutes & then saw a staff member so went across & asked where the van was.
Oh is it not there? Might be a problem with the van. You could ask at customer service desk.
Customer service desk had no idea what the problem was.
They phoned the back & out came my groceries.
The idea of a click & collect is do you don't go in the store & interact with others (I've managed to stay covid free this long, so still following processes that have worked)
How long would they leave you at click & collect? Could they not have put a team member there to direct you to the store? Put up a temporary sign? Set up a temporary click & collect point outside the store?
Was not happy on the day & still think they could have fine better

I cannot believe how poorly run this shop is. Two people serving customers while queues go halfway up the aisles. Every. Single. Week. I've stopped shopping here. Literally double the time it takes at other shops. Almost like they don't know a Saturday will be busy. Complete farce. One staff member stood at the end of the tolls/aisles and just.... Watched. Fuming.

1 star based entirely on the very grumpy checkout woman that closed her till at 3:50 as she finished her shift at 4:00 despite queues being 3 deep at the other isles.

That forced me to move to the back of an other queue and start waiting again.

When a supervisor saw her closed sign in the belt he made her remove it rather than let her knock off early

A comfy biggish Sainsbury's with friendly staff - I have got to know quite a few of them in the years we have been shopping here. Saw some retire, new ones join and faces from day one.
The store is child friendly, has toilets and baby change facilities. I remember the time when there was a Starbucks in there as well. I don't think the café is open just yet - it was closed during the pandemic.
The car park is being resurfaced - and it was about time as well. There is a petrol station with a car wash too. You don't have to buy a code anymore, just pull up by the jet wash and tap your card.

4 stars because it's still an expensive supermarket. It's fair to say that they've recently expanded their range of products and cheaper products are now available in many categories. They offer personalised coupons as well sainsbury's coupons with nectar card. The best thing is that the store is always well stuck.

My local Sainsbury's (Perry Rd) is so poorly stocked, I visited Castle Marina to buy the items I cannot find locally. One item was not stocked here either and despite asking, no offer of checking to see if the item was in their store. Disappointing. The check out lady however, was lovely.
