Tesco Express

It's certainly convenient but it's laid out poorly. The aisles are too narrow so with just a few customers browsing it can feel quite congested. Empty shelves seem quite common here and it sometimes feels a bit messy. I've also had poor experiences with fresh fruit and veg from here. Often doesn't last long.

Incredibly convenient place but since it’s a small store the company jacked up prices unnecessarily, I work at Starbucks and I understand the importance of customer service and these people do it great, especially George (I think? Member since 2008) who’s always willing to talk with a smiling face

I went to buy a lot of groceries plus a meal deal for tomorrow's shift at work. As a meal deal I got myself a sandwich, a snack and a monster drink. Keep in mind that I am 25 years old. Normally I dont get ID'd and it was a last minute decision to go shopping there so I forgot my ID. How old do you need to be to buy an energy drink? 16? 18?
I am turning 26 very soon and the woman who works there, after asking me for my ID and me explaining I forgot it this time, has removed the monster which resulted in me spending more money as no meal deal. I thought the experience was rude, embarrassing for me and I definitely do not look that young. It ended up wasting my time and costing me more. If I normally get ID'd fair enough but I dont. Terrible experience.

I'm in basically daily for the meal deal at lunch.
It's a small store and it's bit cramped, but it's cramped because it's very well stocked up and is popular with the locals and lots of passing traffic.
Only time I've known a problem was down to supply issues which they can't help (the great crisp shortage of 2021)
Most of the staff I see are friendly and will have a laugh.

Just been accused of shop lifting when paying on Apple Pay. Won’t be using here again in a hurry. Security guard was friendly polite and professional. Checkout operator - was less so.

It's one of those things. Right place 😀. To be fair I've never had any problems with the staff. More hassled that they'll suddenly stop selling something I go there to get. Oh well 😀

Poor layout and cramped resulting in unnecessary queues. A bit pricey. Friendly staff from my experience. Decent range. Good selection of fresh veg. Very average overall.

Local store. Reason I use it is because the staff are nice to speak to. Prices are fair, plenty of variety in brands and that's all anyone wants.

Once again, the staff are nice (some nicer than others) 😂
