Asda Cardiff Coryton Supercentre

The shop was totally fine, it's a big Asda so loads of choice. Stock levels on some products low or out though and travelator out of order.

The big let down was the cafe. The pictures should say enough but the service was not great only one member of staff looked remotely interested in being there and short sharp service is the best way to describe it. Food was not great. Panini lacked filling and the toasties were only toasted on one side leaving one side soggy!

I am a big fan of this excellently located store. Usually great but no lpg for over a month due to a problem with the pumps. Asda has no released to the funds to get the repair done. This is very poor customer service. Lots of us need LPG and there are few places that sell it. Please get it fixed.

I love shopping at Asda Coryton. Good quality products for affordable price. Always clean and staff are helpful and friendly. I do my shopping weekly at Asda and never had any problems but on this visit, I tend to believe it was an accident, they scanned an eggs I bought 3 times at the till but I bought only 2 packs.

Love this Asda but today when I popped in there was only 3 checkouts open apart from self checkouts.
So today I left this store and the goods I was about to purchase.
I was using the self scan app on my phone as previously mentioned above there's not enough staff on the checkouts.
Got to the checkout and followed instructions to purchase. I was informed that I was selected for a check ,no problem but the couple next to me had also been selected.
The gentlemen started to check the couple's shopping but then informed them that it would all need to be rescanned ( full packed trolley).
I asked the lady would I have to wait for the gentlemen to scan all their shopping before he gets to me?
She informed me that I would.
Anyway I took my shopping out of my Asda shopping bags and left the store.
Went to Tesco upperboat straight after and found it a very pleasant
Shopping experience with more variety.

Do not use the scan and go feature. We got to the till and had a spot check which is fine but when she done so she claimed we hadn't scanned some items. Absolutely not true! Left us at the scan and go area feeling highly embarrassed. Insinuating that we had stolen basically!! Out of order! We scanned every single item. Like we was going to steal 2 jars of 1 pound pickles on a £75 shop. Won't be using scan and go again here! Be very careful as to avoid this happening to you. Staff very rude and abruptl. I'd give zero stars if I could!!

Asda Coryton has a rather aggrevative staff member hovers about checkout self serve!
Everything my husband and myself go there she walks up behind me stops noses then walks off!! Stops again and glares...I have complained to desk many times and my husband and also to another staff member.
I have bipolar and chronic pain and my husband has spine problem and is deaf both ears..this NAJ whatever her name is literally provoking us every visit to the store and triggering my mental illness..now if I needed help I would ask? We know how to pay, we do not pinch as that's how she recently made my husband feel glaring at him even walking past to an Isle he has had enough and quite frankly so have I SO KINDLY TELL HER TO NOT INVADE MY SPACE AND MAKE ME OR MY HUSBAND FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WHILST WE ARE DOING AND PAYING OUR SHOPPING IT IS DISRESPECTFUL OF MY PERSONAL SPACE AND AFFECTS MY HEALTH

Only 2 out of 18 tills open today, queued for 30 mins to be served with frozen food in the trolley! I don’t usually use this branch of Asda and certainly won’t do so again. Unacceptable

Great range of products lots of offers easy parking 'Sue' was so helping find the products for me that I needed and looked in storage too fantastic customer service. Would definitely shop here again.
