Tesco Superstore

I dont comment very often, but I want to congratulate Tesco on the friendliness of their staff. It is a pleasure to shop in the Prestatyn branch.
Also they have not been too quick to take down the screens, obviously the safety of their staff and customers is very important to them.

They have an exquisite selections of beautiful chewing gums which really made me happy and jump up and down in excitement. As a aspiring gum connosewer I am one step closer to being a person full of gum wisdom.

Lack of cashiers and huge queues at the tills even for self service. Shame because the staff are really helpful. Tesco really need to consider oaps who suffer standing and aren't confident using self service.

Busiest day of the year and they have only 4 tills open. Ques longer than during covid. Tesco stop being so tight and get more staff working and open some more tills

It's a good big store free parking while shopping with petrol station and railway station

We are not from around here as we live in the midlands and went to Tesco today for a few items and were greeted by a young lady by the name of Jackie on the till.
She was very busy with customers waiting as other operators were but she still had the time to speak to us and pass the time of day.

Visited this store a number of times over the years and there is one thing that has annoyed me, the clubcard prices that they advertise. If you have a clubcard ALWAYS check you get the discount. I have had to query my bill with the staff on several occasions including today ( hence the feedback ). Each time there has been an advertised price yet no discount at the till. Upon asking why I was told there should be a discount but they had no idea why it was not applied. I even asked to speak to the manager ( on holiday ) and the assistant failed to appear. Please check if you are due a discount with your clubcard and make sure you get one.

Poor experience at the cafe, food presented was extremely over cooked to the point I could not get a fork into it. Asked and got a replacement, but it was virtually thrown at me by the cook with no semblance of an apology.
