Definitely look to secure a taxi firm in advance of arriving. Found them extremely arrogant. Charged £30 for 4 miles. Actual driver was really nice. Rip off.

We pre booked a taxi with this company and our flight was delayed by 30 minutes we called to tell them this and was told it’s fine some one will be there when we got to the airport no one would answer the phone and kept cancelling my calls super unprofessional would not use or recommend

Avoid this “business”.
Left my wife and daughter stranded at Stansted Airport at 2 am after their flight was delayed.
The driver was aggressive and abusive having a stand up argument with my wife over the phone while she was trying to clear passport control.
He claimed that she had “stupidly”booked an incorrect time and had to “understand his position”.
My wife had called ahead from France and sent texts to warn them of the altered flight time - it’s clear that they can’t be relied upon if other fares are available.
He then told her she was a “no show”, wasting his time at 2am before leaving them high and dry.
When I called to ask them for help and to re-send another driver as my 11 year old was exhausted and in tears, they continued to talk over me, saying I had a refund (which is besides the point when your child is at risk). They then hung up and refused to discuss further.
Totally unprofessional behaviour, find another taxi service!

AVOID - WHY DID TWO MEN TRAVEL TOGETHER TO COLLECT A LONE WOMAN AND HER DAUGHTER FROM THE AIRPORT AND THEN ABANDON US AT 2am?
These cowboys abandoned me and my daughter at the airport at 2am, forcing her to sleep on the concrete floor.
I kept them informed about delays to out flight and the horrendous queues at passport control. When I phoned them for pickup once we were through (as agreed) the driver screamed down the phone that I "booked the wrong time" and he is putting me down as a "no show"
When I phoned the office, his boss then said that he is in the car with the driver (why are two men travelling to collect a woman and her daughter in the early hours?) and denied any mention of a no show.
He then became abusive because I swore at the driver once he told me he was abandoning us (which parent wouldn't?)
They will leave a comment claiming that this isn't the same company ... it's total rubbish as I've checked the phone numbers against my invoice and this account - they match.
Look at the worrying trend of reviews... avoid

Tried to contact them about booking a taxi before a flight. No answer via telephone, Google messages or email.
In response to their reply, this was before the train strikes and I'd tried to contact them on and off over the course of 2 weeks at the end of September.

Reasonable fares and a smooth experience from Stansted to the hotel in central London and then back again a few days later. Usman, the driver, was very accomodating and it was a safe and relaxing drive.
Highly recommended. 5/5
