Esher Station Cars

Unfortunately had a very bad experience with this company.

Driver tried to overcharge for an agreed fare claiming additional airport parking charges (which had already been factored into the original quote). He was also inflating what the airport parking charges were.

When I refused to pay the excess, he said pay me now and then take up the refund with the company. I didn’t believe him.

He then became extremely aggressive and has threatened to rob me when he next sees me.

Driver also wanted cash initially. Driver also said that all the white people don’t question his extra charges. Generally his attitude made me cautious and want to double check the agreed fee, which his tablet also confirmed.

The cab did turn up early though and get me to the destination in record time.

Booked for a school drop off at 8.30 days in advanced. Called at 8.30 and was told that the driver is stuck and is running 15-20 min late. Had I not called I would not have gotten an update. Called an Uber and it is 9 min away.
Don’t waste your time Pre booking this taxi services if you need to be anywhere on time.

Very poor communication! They didn’t tell us about the congestion charge till we were in the car and then threatened to drop us at the nearest train station if we argued any more. We already had agreed to pay nearly 20£ more than what we paid a few days earlier. Would not hire again.

Total heroes at Gatwick last night, which was a nightmare with the train strikes. Patient, calm, waited for us, clear comms and got us home (three drops!) as safely and quickly as you'd realistically expect. Thank you!

Rip off wanted to charge me £25 from esher to hampton. I thought it a lot but didnt want to use uber , wanted to use local.so i agreed. then they called me back and said it would be £30 . I said cancel it uber picked me up 5 mins later and charged me £18 . I will never use them again and wil tell everyone i know about it.

We have used them often and we're due to get picked up in London today after a long day travelling. Booked this on 15 August and today is 26 August and they have just cancelled 2 hrs away from pick up. They asked how much they had quoted as if they couldn't be bothered to honour the quote. We'll never use them again and will also tell our friends why...

FRAUDSTERS!!!! Avoid at ALL costs!!!!!!

Confirm times, arrive late, double fares as you get in the car - single woman intimidated- DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM UNSAFE!!!!!

Have used Esher Station cars for a while and never had an issue - however the last experience with them has ruined it. We ordered a taxi from Surbiton to London Gatwick at 4.00am, and ordered a saloon and were quoted £56. The driver arrived 25 minutes late, in a beaten-up prius that made grinding noises for the entire journey, made no apologies for his lateness then charged us £75 for the trip despite there being no traffic at all on the roads and no discount for almost making us late for our check-in.

Given we had used them for a while I emailed giving them a chance to set things right without a review, and they havent even responded. Appalling.
