Burleigh Travel

The booking and organisation process was so well supported - it never felt like I was organising a tour for 40 plus. When we arrived, the accommodation was just as it had been promised and Burleigh Travel staff were staying on site and really checked to see everything was as it should be.

On Saturday, we had been offered a friendly - and what a lovely venue - once again with Burleigh representatives that said hello, engaged with the group and just ironed out any issues.

When it came to booking our next tour - I never considered using another operator and would certainly recommend Burleigh Travel.

Burleigh Travel organised a fantastic rugby tour to Berlin for Clwb Rygbi'r Bala. Our accomodation was ideal and our opposition, SC Siemensstadt, were great hosts. This is the second time we've used Burleigh Travel to organise our tour and we thoroughly recommend them.

It was the first time ever taking our Girls Rugby section on Tour! The team at Burleigh Travel were so helpful. We were a bit of a mixed bag of age groups so arranging a fixture was quite tricky, but Burleigh Travel made all our arrangements for us and everything was great!! Thank you all so much for helping us have such an enjoyable experience!!

This was the 7th time our club has used Burleigh Travel which has included an Under 16s tour. I think it says it all when we keep coming back. Everything was as smooth and well organised on our 2019 tour to Spain. David Peachey had everything sorted to a tee and nothing was too much trouble when we needed a few late name changes due to dropouts.
First class service from a first class operator and I know a bit about touring as I have organised quite a few myself.

COVID has had a huge impact on every sector, travel being particular hammered. Our original tour was cancelled due to travel restriction but through great comms on both sides, DRFC and Burleigh Travel, we managed to set a new date in Sept. Burleigh travel refunded 3 families that could no longer make the rescheduled tour and the rest of us (15 families) had a absolute blast. Croft Farm was great in every respect - service, food, accommodation, activities. Chris put on an extra training session (which gave us coaches a break) and although we didn't play any rugby against opposition, the boys had a great time. In their own words - "best tour ever" and "can we do this again next year" It was by far the best team bonding session that our lads have had. Chris looked after us very well, under immense pressure brought about from COVID restrictions. We have already started speaking with Burleigh Travel to take part in a Summer rugby festival at Croft Farm in 2021.

Another outstanding tour by Chris and his team. Well put together, great pace with time to explore. Have done so many with Burleigh travel over the past 12 years and the experince has always been brilliant. Thanks and looking forward to the next one.

What a tour; Amsterdam 2022 what a time to be alive. Something to tell the grandchildren about. Great tour rep with amazing organisational skills. Set us up with a game of rugby against Gouda. Another fantastic rugby tour organised by Chris and Burleigh Travel. It was great to finally have this tour and play some good rugby against RFC Gouda. Overall it was a great experience filled with numerous activities for the whole tour party. I would definitely recommend this company for any sports teams looking to go on tour.
